  1. Always too worth getting some grout colour charts before you commit.
  2. Ahem...
  3. Imho at least put some conduit drops / boxes in, even if you go wireless.
  4. I've had a Quinetic switch fail.
  5. The Burrows / discharging...nothing new there then! 😂
  6. Deeper, 47mm back boxes can help but that has knock ons. A deeper service cavity potentially etc.
  7. Good luck getting 2 4mms in some accessories let alone 3.
  8. You'll get no arguments here.
  9. 3D print some custom extension pieces?
  10. Thinking about this you could cover the garden with PV panels and have an AstroTurf "cover" on a garage door type roller. To use as a lawn you would of course need to have a protective shield if you will over the PV panels, have you any experience with walk on glass?
  11. The list is getting longer but as SWMBO seems to have no interest in projects here I have to find outlets for my talents elsewhere! 😉 That it serves beer and the conversation is better is just the icing on the 🍰.
  12. Too busy mate. Just FINISHED a box section arch for the pub and a reversible sign. Paid in pints and crisps! 👍
  13. They could always build social housing or a halfway house on top!
  14. The theory being he's protected against ever increasing prices. Without knowing what those increases could be it's I guess impossible to calculate the "savings". Saying that it doesn't have to be about saving per se, if you've the money and want to play with this tech then why not. Spares could be an issue if it all goes to pot with China maybe?
  15. Impressive. What's the total outlay, payback time etc?
  16. Except the bike is or at least was a 100% real product. Discontinued now. The microwave is real. Available long before April 1st. Uses 2 of their 40V XGT batteries to give 80V.
  17. Or Raleigh even?
  18. This is not btw aimed at any Welsh plumber in particular: https://www.powertoolmate.co.uk/power-tools/cordless-other/makita/makita-mw001gz-40v-max-xgt-cordless-microwave-naked.htm?
  19. You know like as in bathroom finished...
  20. Bosch, long series multi construction bits I found good when doing similar.
  21. Don't think I could walk very far afterwards.
  22. That's bad.
  23. Yep, lad I knew said it was the same in Libya when he was building bakeries and they were short of the correct aggregate. Spoke to the local go between / fixer and was awoken to a gang of locals sat in a circle with hammers and a big pile of stone.
  24. Tarts! Club hammer and a bit of 40x40 mesh. 😂
  25. Use whatever you've got. A sketch of what you intend here and there would help. This is make it up as you go along land don't forget! I'd use penny washers with M6. With M6 you'll be able also to use flat wood bits and counterbore the timber so the washer/nut sits flush.
