  1. It's @zoothorn's day off so I figured someone had to pick up the baton!
  2. "Feet", if I'd have looked harder I could have found fully threaded I'm sure. Reckon I might need to die these down: Waiting for everything to dry...
  3. Free angle, free nuts & washers! A bit of chopping later, you can just see the rivnuts. Kissed it with the wire brush to derust: A 1.8m one, a random one a bit shorter and a nom 400mm one. And a coat of zinc rich as I couldn't be ar$ed waiting for etch to dry: Amazed I got this far without a) A drink and 2) The boredom fairy showing up! Must crack on, off to dig out bolts, more later!
  4. Fire up the Rage!
  5. T'station messed up with the M5 studding! It's being delivered tomorrow now. Anxious to get on with this I've a new plan. I'm ditching M5 and have a new plan involving CT1 and these: Hopefully get the bones of it lashed together this evening!
  6. Before I commit to wall tiling have I got enough membrane on these walls? Over the Aqua Panel it is almost transparent yet has had two coats.
  7. This. Can't wait to get it going. Basically SWMBO steps underneath and at the touch of the remote the bird in the video steps out!
  8. Bluetooth speakers & a body dryer aren't?
  9. Tbh I did quite fancy one of those cheapo ones that have LEDs powered by the running water. A doddle to change to one if we want to. Seems all of a sudden prices have shot up even for these!
  10. Gives you some idea of installing and then maintaining:
  11. Hello and welcome. I dip in occasionally to an American solar forum. It's a bit clunky to navigate I find but they're a friendly bunch. A lot make their own heat storage tanks. Size I suspect often makes up for inefficiency but then they have the space. Worth a look: http://simplysolar.supporttopics.com/?forum=268124

    Light not working

@Wes, any of these your handiwork?

    Light not working

All get connected together and also to any earth terminal on the light fitting. I sleeve mine individually rather than twist them all together like that.
  14. It was here I got mine: https://www.wayfair.co.uk/diy-plumbing/hd0/30cm-round-fixed-shower-head-l7183-k~hdz1251.html?
  15. Didn't you get the same HR rainfall head I did but from somewhere else?
  16. REI3211 is the square ended plate version...REI3411 the round ended plate.
  17. That's the rounded end one.....like I have. My link for the square ended one.
  18. Cheapest so far. Plus £6.50 postage but with 5% off using AUG5 code. https://www.victorianplumbing.co.uk/hudson-reed-reign-triple-concealed-thermostatic-shower-valve-square-plate-rei3211? Note for whoever is interested they do both a squared off and radiussed plate.
  19. http://www.britishbathroomcompany.co.uk Specifically this, price appears to have increased considerably: http://www.britishbathroomcompany.co.uk/reign-triple-shower-valve-1583?
  20. No, Nick just fits them. Hudson Reed. Come very well packaged, clear instructions and 10 or is it 20? year g'tee. British made I think too. @ProDave has one, I do too.
  21. I've M6, 8, 10, 12 & 16 to hand just no M5. M5 was decided upon as it was M5 suckers that I found cheapest. I did think it'll be no good for heavier tiles though. EDIT: & M24!
  22. +1. I couldn't be ar $ed going into that detail tbh. You can lead a horse to water etc...
  23. The pity is there were only four basic questions in there!
