There's not a blockage the house side of the pump?

And the common factor here is?

Part numbers: Rail/handset: http://www.britishbathroomcompany.co.uk/slimline-slide-rail-kit-a3041 This mixer: http://www.britishbathroomcompany.co.uk/reign-triple-shower-valve Rainfall head: It wasn't this HR one but v.similar and at the time a real steal. Nearest I can find (cheap): https://www.bellabathrooms.co.uk/hudson-reed-round-fixed-shower-head-300mm-diameter.html? Then the ceiling drop arm. HR again. Will try and find the part numbers for the arm and rainfall shower head. Edit: Hudson Reed AR15 is my ceiling drop arm.

If it seems like I'm spreading my questions over various new threads...I am! Figured they stand alone and might help those following. Haven't fitted a sink with a pedestal ever, always drop in ones, so here come the questions: Sink is loosely in: Mounted on M10 bzp studs with those plastic cam things to adjust the height. 10mm tile drill followed by a 7mm multi construction bit. Studs sent home with the impact, going nowhere! Rather than use the supplied giant Rawlplugs the screws go into the 6"x2" timber behind I fitted in the stud wall: It's level: The tiles it's mounted against are plumb but the sink slopes, assume this is correct? The pedestal, I'll live with this. Surprising the casting isn't perfectly symmetrical! What I cant get my head around is the pedestal leans forward. Tbh It's no huge deal. The basin is sitting solid on the pedestal. The tile it sits on is level??? Just below the main fixing stud is another hole about 3" down on the corner of the casting, you can just see it. Am I meant to fix through there as well? Am I correct that I DO NOT want to "stick the basin to the wall"? The only silicone is when it's nutted tight to the wall and goes along the back edge and sides where they meet the tiles? Do I put a smear of anything between the basin and pedestal? The base of the pedestal has two fixing holes in the casting. I'd rather not drill because of the UFH pipes. CT1 maybe, baby wiped off followed by a coloured silicone? Any thoughts, tips appreciated! Cheers

Appliances Direct - Electriq - any experiences?
Onoff replied to Radian's topic in Air Source Heat Pumps (ASHP)
I've purchased brand names from Appliance Direct before no issue. Also running two ElectriQ Android boxes here on two old tvs. Assume they have fingers in many pies. https://www.ukwhitegoods.co.uk/help/about-the-appliance-industry/manufacturer-information/4057-electriq-appliances -
How much does sand compact when plate compacted?
Onoff replied to Digmixfill's topic in General Construction Issues
Only just read this sorry! The concrete edge is where I shuttered and squared off the wall footings to make it easier to eps it. Eps over the concrete edge, stuck with Soudal low expanding foam. The inner leaf dpc is at the joint just under the pipe which was originally the room's ffl. That incidentally was 60mm higher in places than the rest of the house, to correct this was one of the reasons I embarked on the "big dig". I painted the blocks up to the dpc with liquid waterproofer then chucked dry sand at the second coat: Then glued perimeter eps on with Soudal low expanding foam: Imho I think your 50 sand blind is way too thick. I just got my hard-core v.level and the sand was just a token thing. The eps does all the work protecting the dpm. -
Ta but too late. I've cut the waste through the wall back that far.

Too much money for one of those chromed telescopic things! It's pretty much all hidden within the pedestal so would be a waste! I'm going to put a white (upvc?) panel up the bath side of the pedestal anyway. On with the search!

Found this but was after something asap: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1-25-or-1-1-4-INCH-Trap-Waste-Extension-for-Bathroom-Basin-Sink-Thread-/262625506557 According to S'fix though it's for converting EU to UK wastes: https://www.screwfix.com/p/mcalpine-s12a-f-1-bsp-eu-uk-coupler-white-32mm-x-32mm/4483V?

Does anyone have a couple of Schwegler bat boxes?

What's it made of? -
Seeing what's what tonight with the sink. I know, a half or no pedestal would have looked bettet but SWMBO likes this, the original sink that came from Hombase with the bath. It's a tad out. Weird as the floor is level. Nothing some careful packing won't sort. It's pissed too in the other direction, Again tile is level. Main issue is the anti syphon trap sits too high. Why? Because somebody didn't allow for the tiles! Tbh I did think about it but just assumed there'd be enough vertical adjusment to cope. It's 10 - 15mm I reckon. Anyone point me at waste "extension rings" please? Seen some McAlpine ones at 1" but that's too long. Cheers

Could you attach the pump to the other end and try and shift anything in there "downhill".

With the harsh light of the site light showing up loads of imperfections.... I need to put some silicone around the chrome pipe cover so any water from the wet room corner doesn't track thru where the pipe enters the wall. Thinking CT1 overkill. Maybe a horseshoe bead of standard silicone? Looks better from a couple of feet away:

I've repaired damaged foil faced pir with heavy duty Bacofoil before. Bit of spray adhesive, job done.

Needs a bloody good clean I know that. Powdery residue that seems to take an age to get off. Was debating hoovering the walls with the stiff brush attachment? A few bits too of excess grout need to be removed along with some silicone smears. Silicone done though I'll probably faff and touch a couple of bits up. Sink next.

Glow in the dark skull anyone? https://www.mig-welding.co.uk/forum/threads/anet-a8-3d-printer.82829/page-36#post-1298847

Tonight I ventured back into the bathroom and had another crack at the silicone! As @Construction Channel wisely said "less is more". 5mm is thus my go to size now and imho it looks infinitely better. Simply put there's less silicone to screw up, mistakes are smaller etc: There's nothing that'll cover up sh!t tiling though, it is what it is.
