  1. Oh I agree about conservation but think throwing dead fish overboard is the wrong way of doing it. I think (rightly or wrongly) making our own decisions about our own coastal waters is partly why we voted to leave the EU.
  2. We could also stop this stupid quota system that results in dead fish being thrown overboard.
  3. But what percentage did it used to be???, I remember fishermen being paid to decommission their fishing boats. Open boat yards, build fishing boats encourage fishing, eat more fish ?
  4. Which is why “soft start” tends to be the norm nowadays ( I have had a hitachi m12 fir about 40+ years, still going strong). I prefer a larger router as it’s weight helps stability.

  9. Hello and welcome to THE forum fir self builders, can I ask where in Shropshire (I used to live up there, near Whitchurch).
  10. Using a router will give you a better, consistent depth and angle, doing it by hand will be a ball ache. If you really want to do it by hand I would use a table saw to take most of it off and one pass with a plane to smooth it.
  11. I prefer a router to a planer fir this as you can do it in one pass, planers need multiple passes and difficult to gauge depth and angle.
  12. was this intentional or a typo?
  13. country Coast Americans call them “mud rooms”
  14. Very well done, you must be proud of what you have achieved ?

  16. I have only fitted one “in frame kitchen “ (amongst many) and although it looked good the customer wished they had not chosen it after a while, they frames make using the cupboards less user friendly.
  17. Or just small dabs of adhesive every now and again.
  18. Rumour has it he is present on the Tesla forum (but no proof).
  19. No, it came with a new topper and I needed to get our field cut, I have done some work on it, it’s great to work on something that does not need a computer or a degree to fix (and you can still get all the bits ?).
  20. Yes, not difficult, it’s not as if it’s furniture making
  21. Yes mate, TVO not bothering with tho, can’t buy it anymore, you can make your own but it’s harder on the engine so I only run it on petrol. Great little useful “toy” ?

  25. be careful, yours might ask. My plumber did give me a ticket, it was just not asked for. I did nearly all the plumbing and he made the final connection and checked all was ok. I would confirm you can find a plumber that will do this fir you.
