  1. Bloodyhell Peter Checked at 445 nothing Great spot Both of us where feeling really down Not sure what conditions are As there is no decision notice though Perhaps going on Monday
  2. Unlikely with Boulder clay But I’ve already asked that Our ethology report has come back and said moderate at best and pointed out there are no crop fields in the locality But as you say Dave It should have been picked up with PP 12 months ago Can they really insist on soil samples at this stage
  3. Each time we satisfy this particular planners request She comes up with something else Now she wants us to grade the former agricultural land To check if it isnt high grade cropping land I told her while the field is still agricultural The two plots have been deemed infill when planning in principle was granted Ive tried to avoid requesting her to be removed But I think we have reached that point now

    Water Supply

I was concerned about freezing weather So filled the UFH with air 5 bar and left it like that till summer
  5. From a financial point PV doesn’t make sense Unless like Dave you can pick it up cheap and self install Our predicated saving was £200-300 per year So we ignored planners and didn’t fit On our second Our sap guy is very much pro PV and stated as we will have ASHP we could save as much as £500 annually But conceded with batteries 8-10k install As PV installers are hiking up there prices Due to Covid Of course ?

    UFH issue

Great feeling when you see those little blue tops start to rise
  13. Putting concrete tiles on in place of slate usually leads to roof sagging without extra support Theres probably no felt under the slates That why the roof leaks when you loose a slate I would strip the roof Membrane and Batton and reuse the slate I did this with my neighbors roof (Welsh slate) and had to buy about a 100 extra slates and simply re holed others
  14. We decided against TF in favoure of block and brick on our first build Purely based on cost For our next build we looked at TF again as cost wasn’t the same issue But found TF even more expensive than last time Probably due to rising Labour cost This was just as lockdown was kicking in Now the difference between TF has widened even further So brick and block for our next two
  15. Just had a quote from CMIC Half the price of our previous one five years ago

    UFH issue

Thank you to Peter W for responding Very difficult when someone posts a picture and asks What wrong with this As you thought not a Plumbing issue Swapped the stats and actuators Nothing Left the actuators off the two effected zones Slowly stated to get some heat in the pipes Electrical then Put a tester on all the actuators The two effected had no power going out I took backplate off the two effected stats and found a live feed had snapped Half a day for me Half an hour for a good electrician Great feeling when those caps pop up on the actuators
  17. Such is the positioning of the edging and lack of pavement We will need mirrors on the plots entrance Can but wait
  18. Still waiting on planners I address one point and they find another The latest thing is we had planed to keep vehicles off the quiet but 60 mph country road As we have a gated access further up the field that would be perfect Planners don’t seem to agree See pictures There doesn’t seem to be any reasoning behind there decision

Any pointers would be appreciated
