It depends on the size of the array and the placement of the panels. You really need to get some advice from whomever would be your preferred downstream installer. Remember you’ll need MCS for selling exported energy. If its an array with all the panels together on a single elevation then you could be a single ‘string’ ( pair of cables ) but if east / west split then you’d be dual string and need 2 pairs. You’ll also need to allow enough coiled up cable to be able to reach the furthest panel from where you’ve left the cables. It would be a proper piss-you-off to find you’ve done the prep incorrectly Go ask some questions, and offer to pay that person for their professional time eg tell them you’re expecting a service from them vs a “can you take a quick look”.

You need to get quotes, as we cannot tell you what your particular home will cost to do. Maybe folk here can post up rates for walls & ceilings ( p/m2 ) to give you a yardstick. Most good spreads will just do you a day rate, and should get 3 sets on a day, 2 if the going is rough and they have to dub out ( because the boarding is crap ). Most likely due to lack of airflow, not 'ingress'. Mould starts when the walls stay damp because the air stagnates. My mate rang me about his HMO and was about to pay some "damp specialists" to resolve. I told him to fit an open trickle vent and ask the room tenant if they dry their clothes in the room. He bought a communal tumble drier and fitted the vent. Problem solved. I also told him to get furniture a little way off the walls, as a full height wardrobe up tight to the wall is a damp ( humidity and stagnated air ) trap so mould will thrive there.

I had a lot of input with the utilisation of the software / hardware, via one distributor, and the upshot of it was the suppliers recognition ( after denial ) these units can be linked together with a master-slave arrangement with a Cat5 cable. The idea being that, in a power-out, the lead unit would step in to provide the 50hz 'metronome' to keep the second unit in play ( eg when it was missing the grid frequency which it / they used for harmonising when in normal conditions ). Cheap enough system too for what it gives, eg much higher throughput in parallel ( 6kW reliable with 2x units ). Maybe an 'energise to break' contactor for one CU with the non-emergency / heavy loads on it would facilitate a clean handover and subtract the induction hob / micro / EV charger / electric shower etc. Easy enough to design if you want the best outcome, but it is a little "doomsday preppy" when reviewed under the microscope....

My clients in Oxford couldn’t, but as you say perhaps that was a planning issue. I struggle to comprehend how ‘they’ can let ‘you’ move into a house that does not have basic amenities and safety systems / electrical etc not installed and certified. Seems open to abuse. Does remind me of one architect, who designed and built his own SIPs passive ( certified ) house, where I went out to survey for a full M&E install, and he said “we’ve been ok without heating, hot water and ventilation as we’ve only ‘just’ moved in”. You will need a sink, and a cooker, plus some worktop to be habitable. The LPG should have been done by a Gas Safe Registered installer, so you should be able to find that online. The norm is for the GSR'd fitter to register online and simply forward an electronic link to both you and the BCO. Same with electrical. If the kitchen is completely absent, you cannot officially be moving in, or practically tbh. Hot water? LPG combi? No hot water no moving in. CO1 and smoke detection system working? If not, you're not moving in. For shower, just buy 2 cheap disposable shower curtains from Wiko's and you're done.
