@PeterWWould you split the short transoms?
-
Not to bothered for wobbly as working platform will be less than meter so just under ceiling.
-
Imagination .... anything is possible?
-
Kwik stage on wheels= very handy? get the heavy duty wheels. We had it double height at one point. Also used it move beams and jack up beams to 9ft. Now on the look out for short transoms 2ft8 so we can wheel it through door ways

Now starting to think about it slightly worried about overheating the red. We have a ufh pipe running through that area.

Don't fancy going down that steps after a "few"......

I am not 100% sure on self levelling concrete, is it a similar consistency to liquid screed stuff?

simon. i am still kicking myself for missing that table saw......

we used c35 pump mix approx 70mm sump 10mm aggreagate (i will double check aggreagate if you want) . certainly not self leveling, lot of work involved to spread out. Our dpm was on the 1st 100mm eps and up to 200mm eps above this, no problems.

Hecateh, that's the very picture that started this nut job idea rolling.... wish I never seen it now. I am impressed with that wine rack plus site I have seen similar sites from America not here. Will need to study further.

Be a lot easier but not keen on that look.

Anyone used theunderfloorheatingstore.com ?

Did you try direct to TP? We have managed to source stainless steel for the roof from one of their sister companies through the local TP. Pretty good price. -
I am planning a small project of a wine rack under the stair. Local cabinet maker has came back at a hefty price so was planning a diy attempt in American oak. So i need some new toys.... Router:- was looking at the 2000w dewalt one. Plus table prob diy. 2nd fix Nail gun. Dewalt dcn660 (already many batteries) will have to buy this at some point anyway. Table saw. I haven't got a clue where to start. Doesn't need to be mobile I like options for guide rails etc. Came to conclusion buy new for 1st 2 tools in list as they hold value pretty well. Any options or opinions on all 3 tools. greatly welcome. Something like this.

I could copy and paste the above for our job description!

+plus 1 for adding on 150-200mm eps on to a standard block as. eps70 is v cheap on the next job. @Triassic i will be interested in which way you go regading waterproof icf.
-
Handy table. We also looked at quad lock and thermohouse. Went for nudara in the end, and are very happy. 2 other properties locally used amvic both look v nice.

I have had good service from tanner, maybe not the cheapest but after the 1st local engineer in Aberdeen who had no clue I will be using tanner on project 2.

Oil boiler just serviced and now short cycling?
Alexphd1 replied to Diablo's topic in Boilers & Hot Water Tanks
Yes we have done this inside.... desperate times needs desperate measures! BUT DO NOT TRY THIS AT HOME!! I would originally said solenoid on oil pump starting to fail but when you said removal of front cover makes difference, I presume this is not a room sealed boiler I think I would be double checking baffles are in correct place.
