  1. Axminster have 10% off everything until tomorrow morning
  2. @recoveringacademic Toolstation have a Reisser trade pack on offer at the moment that is really good value, £52 down to £40 Reisser Trade Pack
  3. The larder fridge and larder freezer will be the ones costing a fair chunk of that. Before choosing an American FF, I looked at a pair of integrated fridge freezers side by side, with split doors hung facing each other so it’s like a larder. With this you get similar storage space for much less money.
  4. So I’ve got that lot to £3800 on AO.com without the ceiling extract or tap but including a built in microwave. That’s AEG Warming drawers are silly prices just for keeping plates warm though ..!
  5. Quooker are overpriced for what they are. Microwave ..??
  6. He would need a good editor as the following statement to the “wet it through till it’s sopping” was “now mix me a bucket of jizz and make it like mother’s milk....” Translate that ..!!
  7. Was typing the same answer as @lizzie..! I’d use 3m fence posts bolted to the existing wall and then fence the front of it using a rail and board. You can always make it full height and hide the wall too or stick planters in front and grow stuff up it to hide the wall section
  8. Amica are nice and decent price - £7k sounds a lot though, what does that include ..??

    UFH

You need to be much less than that. 35-40c tops, some run even lower (27-32c in low energy houses) so you get issues with boiler flows as they can rarely go below 45c in heating mode.

Boiler will need to modulate right down - buffer would be ideal then it won’t short cycle etc

    UFH

UFH manifold will do that for you.
  12. I thought @Nickfromwales was joking when he said to mop the floor when we were putting 15 bags of self levelling down but he meant mop..!! As in soaking ..!! And then mixed the SLC with nearly 20% more water and ended up floating a floor +\- 2mm overall as you can make that stuff run up hill if it’s not wet enough and the concrete below is bone dry. A mop and bucket is now my weapon of choose for flooring ..!!
  13. That’s very tidy ..! Surprised he used ordinary nail in pipe clips but they’ve done the job. And the floor fitters can’t exactly say they didn’t know where the pipes were ...
  14. 7 coats of paint..??!!! Did you work for Bentley in a former life ..?!!!!
  15. Sorry meant as in how it works for it to be RHI compliant ..! Assume the controls one use oil for boosting heat and then bulk is done with ASHP and the RHI reflects this. Or RHI is based on space heat only that comes from ASHP and DHW is oil.
  16. https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.co.uk%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F253704483856 Not sure how it works but is RHI compliant ..?
  17. Thought you meant that new one ..!!
  18. That can’t be right as it wouldn’t meet building regs and it’s brand new !!
  19. You can get a NO head for the valve from memory
  20. No damp rag to get the dust off, primer then tanking.
  21. Wbats Mansfields price on that @Ferdinand..?? I got a load in the 2 for 1 deal a couple of months back but got big tubs and my Fischer box isn’t in very good nick anymore.
  22. I agree with @joe90 about using a trade pack although I'm not keen on the Screwfix ones unless you get the top end ones and they are the same price as Fischer or Spax and the named ones are better quality. Ironmongery Direct do a trade pack of Reisser that's a reasonable price. I ordered their TimCo Velocity screws previously and did find they were pretty good
  23. These guys are good on price for Terrain Rapidflow And these are good for Brett Martin Deepstyle The nice thing with the Brett stuff is that it has sleeve ends on the downpipe fittings so covers any cut edges of the downpipes.
  24. Yep - can't see anything else you need in volume
  25. 4x50 4x40 5x80 3.5 x 30 Sorted
