  1. You can get external grade CAT5 which is much tougher - good stuff to use when you've got a mix of trades around who may not know what is what !
  2. Gas or Electric or dual fuel..? Or are you only interested in the induction ones..? Depending on where you are, there are people like RDO in the south and Discount Appliances in Newark http://www.rdo.co.uk/trade/ http://www.discountappliancecentre.com/our-showroom/ Kitchen showrooms are also a good place to pick them up as display models - you'd be surprised how cheeky you can be with an offer and get it accepted !
  3. You'll need something big to cart it away as 64 batteries at 21kg each won't go in a Nissan Micra ! UPS - Eddisons Auction
  4. Which model is it..? There are a couple of units on currently - PZ-60DRE and PZ-61DRE I think are the models The 61 is all singing and dancing, the 60 is a high / low / bypass one but they are only compatible with certain age units. If you let me know the model I can pull out the wiring spec but basically there is a 5 pin socket on the board that takes an standard pitch connector. You earth certain pins to do stuff such as speed change and bypass. I did a really simple wiring diagram but its at home and I'm in London ! I've got a simple humidistat from the bay - about £8 from HK and will use that to drive the boost in parallel to the switching and controller as the on board wiring overrides everything
  5. Welcome back ! If you're starting tomorrow - don't forget the photos !

  7. Its a cow shed isn't it..? Can't we put a calf on the roof...??
  8. No chance of putting the loo in the top left corner and the sink behind the door and boxing in..?
  9. Have you looked at using a Jetfloor or similar...? Near passive slab standards of insulation with the benefit of beam and block.
  10. Looked at the in roof systems and they come in about £30 for the panel holder plus another £15 for fittings and then flashings if needed. Worked out pretty similar to using tiles, and cheaper than slate !
  11. Where is the door in that picture..? just wondering about layout !
