  1. Happy Hour again ! The app which you can use to control it seems flakey. The UI on the device seems fine. As i was trying to point out if you have say 3 chargers and decide to buy a radio this might be a good bet. Could sell the chargers on ebay and buy this (thus reducing it's actual cost) - so you would have a dab/fm/streaming radio and a charger. The sound is as good as any Bose I've heard. So it should be compared with that not a 30quid radio from Argos.
  2. Hmmmm This isn’t going to be as easy as I thought . Stairs weigh 90kg - haven’t work out a safe way to get them underground. Also once I build a frame and strengthen it - it’s going to be very heavy !!
  3. Site radio died ? Lump hammer falling on it probably didn’t help . Got this dewalt ! Superb sound ! Also can charge all dewalt batteries and mobile phones . The app you can use to control it is bugged very badly . Crashes all time and I’ve yet been able to get the radio firmware updated without a crash . If you have dewalt batteries and need a radio - sell your chargers and buy this !
  4. “ Switches my vacuum cleaner on when I start my saw? “ Your wife ! ?

  6. Oops sorry ! Just read your ‘spec’ . I put 150mm inbetween rafters and 50mm over it all . From memory this gave around 0.15. So with plasterboard aswell should meet your spec . More intelligent people will be along shortly !
  7. Hey I put pir insulation between rafters . Foam filled any gaps then 50mm over the lot taping all the joints cheers

  17. Gave in . Got a 12 step pre made staircase Total height 2.6 for £168 inc vat and delivery . Needless to say I had to ‘play’ with the builders merchants for it at that price ...
  18. ? oh i’m Positive 99% of the time . Probably end up due to cost reasons buying a pre made straight run then building a frame for it and casters like @Onoff suggested . Just nice sometimes to spend the money and it’s just done !
  19. Yeah I know . It’s just another thing to do on the infinite list of things to do !
  20. These are what i’ve Been using for 2 years . Now a bit rotted . SWMBO wants a ‘proper’ temporary staircase when we live on the build ? Building a wooden one whilst cheap is a pita to move and fix . Mobile stairs make my life easier .
  21. Did that . I need them movable though and free standing
  22. Yeah I know . looks nice and cheap - Select 12 tread and it’s £800 !!
