Question ! As i’ve Yet to power up the mvhr - do the semi flexible pipes move with airflow ? i.e should I clip them rather than just lay across joists ??
-

Well that seemed more work than it should of been ! . Needless to say foil tape and insulation yet to be added !!!

Bet you it’s a flakey connection . Poe solves a lot of problems . Anyway ! Why do you need a camera at your front door ? No one visits you ? -
Apart from your access issue you might want to look for an aggregate recycler . Then at least he wants what you have !

Below ground ducting complete . Think i’ll Add more support to some of the pipes . The fixing clips don’t seem especially strong . Ground floor now - should be easier . Tricky doing long pipes on your own as I have no friends ??

BPC say that the duct seal stuff remains plyable for a few days before setting. I'll keep to CT1 for now.
-
Oh yes; I was going to foil tape all joints anyway. Rather make sure they aren't coming apart before I do that though...
-
Ah bum ! Going to try some ct1 instead !
-
Hmmmm perhaps i’m Not meant to use this for connecting solid pipe . Not sure where i’m Meant to use it !
-
Anyone else have issues with the supplied duct seal ? . Doesn’t seem to hold joints together at all ! . Thought it would be like solvent weld but it’s not . Next day with the slightest bit of strain on the joint it comes apart ...

Right bpc who have been so good - think linking the pan extraction to the mvhr is plain wrong . One as stated the seal needs to be broken to allow this and also the volume of extraction at the pan will be limited . Am I correct extraction only occurs on flushing therefore isn’t permanent? - of course they want it permanent. I think they were concerned about combining 2 different things together . So on their advice I think i’ll Leave it as is ....

Ah I’m ok . Cleverly / luckily I left enough space . So once I’ve knocked out the floor block I can build my timber frame up with no fear of touch ufh ; which is in the screed to the right . ?

So ! If I go for an extract odour cistern should the mvhr ‘boost ‘ on a toilet flush ?? I.e some way to automate that ? . Or just mvhr in normal circulation mode ok ?
