  1. @Onoff you are behind the times and should retro fit mvhr . Get with it dude - misses will understand (not) ?
  2. Superb ! . I’ll stick some photos up anyway just so you can all see ! . But yes ; might aswell go to 120cm and have odour extraction .
  3. This is.why I love this forum ! . Didn’t even know that was possible . As I’m installing the mvhr as we speak much appreciated ! . My issue is at 120cm i’m Over the ufh so can’t bolt the timber frame to the floor - as I mentioned photos to follow to show !!
  4. Erm ! Ok ! So odour extract connects to mvhr ???
  5. Thanks . Not sure 12cm will fit . The depth from timber frame until ufh is 100cm I’ll stick some photos up with dimensions so advice can be given ! . How does ‘odor’ extract work ? Fan in bog ? ??
  6. Hmmmm , the geberit website says 80 - 110 aswell . Peters link says 14/5 .... ?
  7. https://bathroomvillage.com/products/geberit-duofix-wc-frame-with-sigma-8cm-cistern-h114?variant=9004987875380&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIj9iE5uPQ5AIVQbDtCh2GXwtDEAQYAiABEgIVavD_BwE It says depth 80 - 110 . Is that simply the ‘range’ of depth it fits or does it mean depending on installation it could be 110?
  8. Ah ! The h114 !!
  9. Yeah we did . Tbh though when I google sigma 8cm it says for floor standing toilets only . More googling in progress ....
  10. Yeah ; i’ll Get newer because of bits etc. Looking at sigma 8cm
  11. But i’ll Pass at that price . Some of their bogs are 4K !!!!
  12. Though I do like it .....
  13. F me ! That’s just the plate ! What happens if there’s a power failure ??? ?
  14. Looking at the myriad of geberit in wall dual flush cistern and plates . Who would of thought choosing the cistern might be more work than the actual toilet . Assume I should build my ‘false’ wall and get this in situ along with presumably wall hung sink .
  15. Yep - you did .... Original roofer ( if that is what he was ) said “it didn’t matter “
  16. Sigh yes ! . Even this ‘proper’ roofer queried why they were done like that ...
  17. Got roofer I trust to put mvhr roof vents in
  18. Think my idea will work so mesh ordered .
  19. Nah . That edge probably got a bit wet . Once mesh or whatever is in will Dpm over it .
  20. Mock up of what I mean . So green mesh would be screwed to render board then would fold under the bricks to make it ‘tight’ as I can’t fix to the floor / roof
  21. Ok After many alterations and rendering done I notice my timber Battons have no rodent prevention in place . So i’m Trying to keep ventilation under the render board but keep out rodents . You won’t ever see the bottom of the render due to the final floor being higher . Could I simply screw mesh to the actual bottom of the render board down to the asphalt- with bricks behind it just to hold its form ? . This sensible - if it makes sense !!
  22. “ I cracked the barrel trying to squeeze it out.” ouch !!!!
  23. Erm ! i get confused also ! The front as in the photo is a different k product to the sides . Sides were thermolite front was render board . Colour is limestone white . It’s almost like ‘pure’ white but a bit off . Renderer recommended the colour other than pure white because any ‘ageing’ will be less noticeable.
  24. Going to be awkward ! . Don’t want to get it on the nice render nor the stone . Suspect mortar that thin would crack and eventually fall out ...?!
  25. No . Essentially it’s the edge of the timber frame with insulation pir meeting the wall - foamed in the gaps . So this gap is just where the Renderer ended his bead .
