Ct1 only answer ?
-
Yes . Getting it in the frame and placed correctly will require God like skills
-
Yeah . I found a slightly smaller wheel . So 1 ‘ as is wheel ‘ and one smaller wheel will *just* fit ( less than 1mm of play ) ???
-
Yes ! With one set of instructions and 1 ( correct ) runner . You’re a nice man really
-
Yes . But *should* miss ufh ???
-
Yeah but then it will be outside the frame I.e visible . Really want to get it in the shitty frame
-
Don’t (expletive deleted)ing start ! . I had 7 sets of instructions and 4 different slider mechanisms supplied ! Eclisse were zero help as they just send all the instructions out as there’s so much variation . They are (expletive deleted) wits . I’m hot and fed up so @Mr Punter leave me alone ?

Tom cruise even turned down this mission impossible. I’m taller than him so can do it

Might cut that metal b’stard . Ct1 the base of it and tweezer it into place . Requires extreme ninja like skills though .
-
No ! . The problem is getting the door back in and it’s a right (expletive deleted)
-
Hate this door - worst thing on the entire build . Anyway ! This supplied piece was meant to be fixed in the frame at the base to stop the door to stop wobbling as it slides out . As everything was a PITA I left it out - until now ? It won’t fit . There’s no way I am taking the door off . Whilst I might stick brushes down the sides to fill the vertical gaps and stop crap going in there I still need to fit a “ anti wobble “ device at the base . Any sensible suggestions welcome apart from ct1 sticking it as in the photo !!

I installed a black IKEA kitchen in a previous house and put a granite worktop on it . When the estate agent came to value he looked and said “ well there’s 30 grand kitchen “ - didn’t cost 30k . Though the worktop wasn’t cheap . Even in my new build now I’ll probably go for IKEA with maybe a custom made round floor unit at the end ( to act as a bar for all my non existent friends ) . Then put 20k+ of granite over it all -

Pretty sure IKEA do . There units certainly aren’t as bad as you might think . With a decent worktop you can make a relatively cheap kitchen look expensive -

Not used home assistant . The problem I found with most home automation software is it had little support or was just too simplistic. Homeseer has many flaws . But there’s a lot of users if you check the forum . I’ve yet too see a problem that HomeSeer can’t be made to solve - though it can be convoluted. The fact you can script if you want or use the IDE for simpler things is good . Depends how much you want to learn/tinker ; also for a ‘professional’ system you are going to need some real cash . Homeseer equally can do any method you want ( not just z wave ) . I think it’s a free download and you get 30 days trial . Can run on raspberry pi if you wish but I prefer a headless i7 . -

Lighting I use z wave din controller audio per room raspberry pi with max2play doorbell ( camera and now audio ) I changed to doorbird Fire detector I’m keeping seperate I.e mains fire sensors with wireless connections to each other burglar alarm - easy ; with some code and homeseer Blind Control z wave relay to motorised blind ( I’ve no need for this but as a suggestion ) Hope that helps -

Z wave will cover pretty much all of that list . Cctv though cat5/6 cabling . I use homeseer to control everything. How technical are you ? -

Hope not . Mine has grown a bit and as many are aware I can’t measure accurately for shit . Part of the problem of being a well endowed man I guess .
