  1. “ can do “ can rapidly turn into wtf !!!
  2. Extra support added - nothing fixed yet in case it’s wrong or just plain wtf ! In reality I’ve limited weight the hoist takes to 50kg . Staircase stringers are 100kg but upper end will hopefully stay where put On the ground .
  3. @joe90 finally started on my crane ( ok a winch ) . 48mm Scaf pole bolted to concrete wall . Going to make an A shape brace at the top and bolt to wall also . Hoist winch support on order .
  4. Sorry ; couldn’t hold it in
  5. I’m famous ! Thanks for the mention !! ?
  6. Just need to bolt vertically one Scaff pole direct to concrete . I’ll give it a whirl
  7. It’s ok ! I forgot I had those Fischer bolts @Onoff hates ? they’ll do .
  8. Got some of these . What fitting should I use to bolt these to concrete ? These are clamps for 45mm Scaff . All fitting ( anchor bolts etc. ) I have ; all protrude too much .

  10. Hello Plenty to learn ?
  11. I did think these planks didn’t rot , warp , fade I.e everything proof . That’s why I choose them - they do scratch easy though . So if it is efflorescence I’d be surprised. But if airflow is restricted then maybe that is the issue .
  12. I was thinking 50mm aswell . But I’m not on site so can’t confirm . I can check tomorrow…..
  13. I remember when I installed it that the Battons needed To allow air flow . ( from the cedral instructions) …
  14. Certainly looks ok
  15. No idea . But check !
  16. How wide ? . Air vent at the top ?
  17. Got the same cladding . Been up maybe 2 yrs , no issues . Is there proper ventilation gap behind the panels ?
  18. Title got my excited
  19. Always good when neighbors don’t bitch - but …. Planning can be a dog with their own BS ; just wait ….
  20. Sounds fab . Have you thought about walk on glazing?
  21. Dungeons are good for things . So suck on this
  22. Floor stat probe I always thought was rubbish even with wet ufh . Temp at the floor has no relevance to temp in the room . I have sensors in the ceilings of each room and use that to adjust ufh . But as I’m a complete amateur that could all be a pile of ?. But it’s my ?. My ? is better than everyone else’s ?
  23. Ditra backer board . Light weight and easy to cut
  24. Backer board of some type NOT plasterboard . Slightest leak and you are (expletive deleted)ed
