  1. If he does that he’ll lose a pair !
  2. Yes . SWMBO will stab you in your sleep tonight if you don’t conceded. You know what you must do . No renders will change that . No pandering from the forum will change that .
  3. @Adsibob needs to suck it up . No sympathy. He can only make it right by losing . Also as it’s Valentine’s Day may be on a promise …. ?
  4. Kitchen is man territory now ….
  5. A fools move . Get her to choose the curtains - then you are on a win
  6. No @joe90 ! You know there’s no compromise - no “ middle ground “ . He lost . He pays . He moves on to next situation where SWMBO isn’t informed . Those are the rules ; cast in stone since man walked the Earth ! ( or until SWMBO changes them ) .

  11. What I summarise is “ The grand design “ . It’s any of : Architect who lives out his/her dreams with clients money Client with more money than sense Client delusional about the costs irrespective of their savings / affordability. True self build ‘mindset ‘ doesn’t come up on GD very often . Anyone notice I just need need to stick an ‘o’ in there and I get GoD . Mr. mccloud himself .
  12. No . This is what you want . A curved roof when a ‘normal ‘ one would do . A catilevered window when a support will do . A curved glass wall for ‘effect ‘ when a normal wall will do . A ‘mortgage free ‘ build that ends up with a 400k mortgage . K . Mccloud distain with ‘failure ‘ music before a commercial break . Followed by the upbeat musical joys of success . This is what people want .
  13. Different WiFi have different potential speeds . The WiFi connection ‘type’ will limit your speed Release date 802.11 version Maximum possible speed 2020–present 802.11ax (Wi-Fi 6) 700 Mbps 2013–present 802.11ac 195 Mbps–585 Mbps 2011–2012 802.11n 180 Mbps–270 Mbps 2007–2010 802.11n 90 Mbps–180 Mbps
  14. Most people don’t get that there are many different WiFi standards and speeds . So it’s not just distance from WiFi point ; also connection type - 802.11b / g / x etc etc … Virgin I always found unreliable ( in 4 seperate properties ) . A ubiquit hardwired back to the router solves range issues as you “ swap “ between them automatically as you roam the property .
  15. Title instantly made me think of some people
  16. No I’m the winner . I’ve got more tools than Dewalt
  17. Girls always say that too me
  18. Don’t need a screw if you have a bolt …
  19. Nut , bolt , washer it is
  20. Reminds me of a pornhub film I watched
  21. Things like this I stick in a tray and if possible runs straight solid pipe out the property or down into a shower tray . Then you’ll see if it’s leaking rather than rely on an alarm ( which may fail ) . This ‘method ‘ avoided a messy leak once as tenant informed me water was coming out the pipe into the shower tray .
