  1. I wanted to do the same . Hold planning indefinitely by doing something that would be classed as ‘started ‘ . So I dug a big 1100 ton hole . Bco agreed that was classed as started 😁
  2. Not sure about it’s UV properties . But could paint it / lag it if true .
  3. I *think* the terracotta colouring is just to show it’s a waste pipe underground ( in the event it was dug up ) . So …. I don’t see an issue here really . Guess no one does a rest bend above ground I.e black/grey ( which I guess makes sense ). Do it ! 😁
  4. Yeah . But apart from the colour it would work 😁
  5. Screwfix FloPlast Push-Fit 87.5° Double Socket Rest Bend 110mm it’ll probably fit 😁👍
  6. Yes . You have no choice but to use a macerator. Everyone will hate you for it - but you have no choice . Do it and be damned .
  7. I’m just ‘liking’ things now
  8. Yes . I have swept tee’s for this ( I have no long drops - but would want a nice bend if I did ). On your straight connections @Thorfun I see no swept tee’s which I think @Mr Punter was indicating .
  9. Must admit I did wonder this also ( honestly ! ) . So splat and liquid runs off but solid might linger …
  10. That was exactly my thought with plumbing . It’s a case of get the soil pipe to where it should go and then everything else to it . Like you with mvhr pipes in the way things can get tight and rather restricted ( creative pipework …. 😁 )
  11. Any WC etc in basement I.e below drain level ?
  12. It was Steve Ball ( the company name ) not sure they are still around .
  13. You were at the Blue Parrot last Friday ?
  14. Please .
  15. You can grab my can . Shake it violently then watch it erupt .
  16. You’ve never shaken me ! - but I am sloppy for sure .
  17. I find some guns better than others . I never clean the gun because I’m lazy . For some brands I can use 5/6 canisters of foam before the gun is knackered .
  18. So I should put on as few zones as possible . Lower the pump speed ? . My concern is at a lower pump speed the temperature required might never be met so the pump is continuously running .
  19. My Wet ufh below ground has 6 zones . I’ve setup my automation to come on/ off when above / below temperature. Is it more efficient to have more zones on to heat the area rather than fewer ? I’m not worried about time to get to temperature. Also I can set the pump to a lower speed . So fewer areas ( open plan ) on at once ? . Pump lower speed ? . What combination is most efficient?
  20. Not sure . I’ll go with brackets as I know it will work . They shouldn’t be visible .
  21. Actually I’ll mount that right bolt . Thread the left ( but no nut ) . Take the tile board down on the left ( corner ) . Fit nogging . Then can have 1 L bracket coming out which will support that side and the front . Think I’ll embed it in the wall before tiling .
  22. Yeah I agree . Will do that and a pair of brackets . Really annoys me ! . I expect myself to be wrong ( and fix it ) but when it’s produced like this it’s a joke 😡
  23. Yes . Probably better than faffing around with this shite . VictoriaPlum if anyone wants to know 😞
  24. Might be able to cut that bolt . But it’s going to be tight if I need to get rubber grommet in there also
  25. It’s going in a corner , so I can fit one nut - will ct1 back and corner fixing . Tempted to get 3 small steel 90 degree brackets to go under it ( 2 for rear , 1 for corner side )
