I used to be a software engineer so all this stuff is fun ( SWMBO would disagree ) . Obviously if it’s not your thing it’s going to be a learning curve of epic proportions. Yesterday SWMBO decided to try and use a gigawatt of lecky . Everything on including oven as she goes on a “ bake off “ bender . Reasonable Pv generation yesterday. Yet I had to set the SE to manually discharge or we’d start pulling from the grid at a zillion quid a kw . So after that I set SE to charge from the grid at off peak . Pw and SE both low going into the night . It worked ! No issues - both took from the grid simultaneously!

Decided to semi ignore you @Nickfromwales . Ordered rubber flange thing but gone with weld for now as it hasn’t turned up yet . Where the waste pipe enters the tank is a rubber flange - so can cope with some movement . Mega size fitting for weld to 110

Did one of these before . They've changed the design and now I’m confused . Got it powered up . Got the fibaro z wave relay linked to the thermostat input correctly I think . Activating it in software I can hear the relay click but no power seems to go to the actuator . Not sure if I’m ment to do something with the “ heat enable “ ….
