They are ok . But as you said thread length can be an issue . I also used metal strapping .
Cant remember where I got my hangers but just looked Screwfix - do them 👍
The geberit frames are ace . You’ll see something on them and think “ what’s that for ? “ . Days later when fitting it you’ll go “ ahhhhhh , now I see “ .
I’ve done 2 - no issues - you’ll be fine .
You’re getting there don’t sweat it . Anyone can do plumbing it ain’t rocket science ( waits for abuse from plumbers ) 😁
Stick a hose pipe in one end to test .
Also ( funds permitting) you could use a geberit toilet frame ( height adjustable ! ) if you really struggle to line things up ( assuming you’ve not already bought a floor standing pan ) .
I’m waiting to see your hep20 mess 😁👍👍
Think of the future . Increased gas / electric costs . Over insulate for sure . Pv and battery I think an essential.
wet ufh ; ASHP . Triple glaze . Of course budget may be an issue ….
The journey is the destination.
Yep.
Also again in my opinion indoor space is 'valued' space i.e. sq meterage has value and use. If you have loads of unused space indoors then I think it's fine. But when you want big sofa's / arcade machines/ massive kitchen/ downstairs WC - then batteries go outdoors 😁
The current SE battery has a built in fire extinguisher .......
Outside is better in my opinion because if there is a fire/incident better outside than in. Heat build up (especially in lofts etc. ) not an issue if outside. Also getting a 130kg battery in a loft ( or replacing it; won't be too much fun ). Most of all though outside gives space for additions/alterations at a later date.
Nah . All steps at once . Some days plumbing , some days electrics , some days IT .
Mix it up - same thing week after week gets boring . Also it makes your site look a right mess so people think you are busy !!
