Presumably the downside of buying "cheap" is going to be you'll struggle to get a new seat when required if you go for a cheap one like this? Is vida XL a name? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Ceramic-Plastic-Toilet-with-Soft-Close-Bathroom-WC-Pan-Bowl-Seat-White-Wall-Hung-/332007350459?hash=item4d4d2e20bb:g:WCoAAOSw4DJYiVIa This RAK seems better in that seats are available for £57: http://www.britishbathroomcompany.co.uk/toilets/wall-hung-toilets/rak-metropolitan-wall-hung-toilet ("We" do go through loo seats!)

That's wot she said!

Yes but you get them for pearls of technical wisdom and sage advice whereas I get them for the odd witty remark, lewd innuendo and not being afraid to air my numerous faux pas!

They had some love swing contraptions when I went to the Erotica exhibition once..... Quite funny to a see posh Yuppie bird spreadeagled trying them out in her business suit, "Oh Tarquin I think we should get this one but with the Connolly hide!" I like a scaffold board, did the front sliding gate in them. Turned them into T&G with 6mm ply tongues: Down near me they're: 3,9m - £10 pounds per one (£8.70 second hand)3m - £9 pounds per one 2,4m - £8.50 pounds per one Wonder how the price varies across the country?

This thread is proper making me hungry.....

So even though it's low expansion foam what stops the long, vertical sides bending in the middle if you only wedge the corners?

As above I faffed the sill up on the Evolution chop saw! Took it over my chippy mates last night for a perfect cut on his saw. Brought his laptop back to change the DC jack in return. Maybe next weekend! Got to make some wooden wedges too.

Wanted: 92.5 degree double branch adaptor (110mm)
Onoff replied to ProDave's topic in General Plumbing
I've just inherited some boxes of assorted electrical gear and noticed there was a spare former in there. You can have it when I get around to sending that other thing. Think it might be 25mm though. Might be the 20mm in there when I go through it. -

Jeez the headaches I used to get with Xylene based paint! Just got given tins and a brush. No COSHH data! -

Do you think that might come from bending conduit as a sparks? -
Cheek! I started it on eBuild in March 2015!

+1 on Saxton blades. I seem to remember it was JH put me onto them on the old site. I wish they would do a wood blade that would cut through 45/50mm without having to have it come up against the spot welded bit though. Maybe they do... -

Bath Surround / Boxing In, and concealed pipework
Onoff replied to Onoff's topic in Bathrooms, Ensuites & Wetrooms
It's there. Shrink wrapped in plastic and stuffed inside on of the larger pipes, itself plastic wrapped. -
You can get your own here: https://www.aico.co.uk/publications/

These are the parts laid out: Yep, I have the 90/110 adapter - see my post from Sat at 17:13 where I'd fitted it. I'd figured the euro pan connector goes into the 90/110 adapter then that goes into my brown soil fitting. The pan connector surprised me, the pan outlet can't go in by more than an inch or so! -
Does the kit "last"? As in I need corner tape and the liquid membrane to do my bath deck then later on the wet room corner. Assume there's no 2-pack mixing.....or is there?

Me, overthink things? Might come from having an older, more successful brother and my always seeking approval.... as my parents say "We've Adam the eldest, a barrister don't you know! Then the other one who likes playing with bits of wood!"

So I thought, do I really need haunches on the sill? Maybe the Evolution chopsaw wasn't the best idea!

So the missus likes this wc: http://www.wickes.co.uk/Wickes-Trento-Wall-Hung-Toilet-Pan-with-Soft-Close-Toilet-Seat/p/107328 The main reason is "because we can go and see it". I've yet to tell her that it's out of stock everywhere local anyway. Today, mind she's making perfectly good and frequent use of the existing old wc with this bug she's got. When it comes down to it I wish she'd just let me order one off the web! Anyway if we do go for it I note it has a 100mm dia waste: The Geberit fitting suits a 90mm dia waste seemingly: There is this thing in the kit of parts but seems it'll only take a 90mm pipe that'll only go in about 25mm. Is there a Geberit "100mm" part/adapter? Cheers -
Ta, presumably that recess in the base of the sill is meant to go on a mortar bed? EDIT: I could easily use all my likes up on you today!

So do you screw the sill on, guessing not?
