Is the small piece on the left any good, got two. Guessing that could go straight onto the pan connector then 110mm from there? It takes a 90mm male and I think pushes into a 110mm socket... Also got two of the 90deg elbow 90/90 bits spare. @PeterStarck kindly sorted me with a 90mm F to the 110mm M in this photo: EDIT: BUGGER! The bits I'm offering wouldn't clip into the Geberit frame!

NNW facing elevation hence takes the brunt of the wind coming up the valley and always in shade. 50% of the elevation is solid brick nom 300 thick. Then the later bathroom extension that's a cavity wall (pick a brick/block type and it's probably been used from what I can tell). All covered externally in bullet proof render made with God knows what.

I thought soil pipes penetrating the EWI sort of defeated the object and created a cold spot? Plus after a smooth exterior wall.

Seen soda blasting done on car panels/shells...really common in the US as they have a ready market for the waste on the railways (keeps the weeds down). Our railways won't buy it.

Not such a silly suggestion this.....I was turning some stainless steel a while back thinking the swarf produced would be ideal for stuffing into gaps. Any local machine shops near you?

...and BEFORE I finish my gates or bathroom I need to do my mate John's Knightrider lights inset into his block paving so when his gates open or close it looks really cool! I've been having stuff fab'd for 35 years now. My fabricator charges £700/tonne for hot dip galvanizing done at Medway galvanisers. So whatever your tonnage of steel goes in, multiply by 700. They (Medway) also offer a powder coating service. Next down the line is shot blast and zinc flame spray. Pretty good tba. Not as good as hdg above though. I use Beever Ltd in Tunbridge Wells. Last personal thing I had flame sprayed was my brothers astronomy pier. Got them to paint it too. You can also powder coat over it. Then it's stuff in a can. Red oxide is the old favourite. Micaceous iron oxide is pretty good. All the PSA stuff we used to do had to be done in it. Galvafroids a bit rough. Beware the conman who offers galvanizing when it is in fact zinc flame spraying. Similarly "cold" galvanizing - aka out of a can. I'd never btw powder coat bare steel even if it's been blasted. Once there's a crack in it, water gets in.

My frame I think was £350-400, sliding gate/motor kit around £500. 4" steel posts were freebies. Digging, I paid for the diesel. Plus ballast, dust, mesh...I cheated on the ducts and used down pipe etc. Cabling was just leftovers from jobs. My mate helped a bit. I in turn designed and assisted him with his sliding gates...that are all FINISHED! Some of the earliest settlers were Scots. Hard b'stards who hacked their way South literally carving railways out of the rock. The city of Dunedin for example, the name is I believe Gaelic for Edinburgh after the founding father's city. The centre of the city has many similar street names. I worked with many a Hamish, Bruce, Craig, Angus, Blair et al, reflecting their strong heritage.

Another mate had to in the last few years re-dig his long drop w/c. No mains water either just a bfo catch tank on stilts, pump and rudimentary filter. Think I posted pics back on eBuild. How about making into two "sheds" in different positions on the plot? You really can't keep "as is"?

I have a few friends out in NZ. A house move for one consisted of first buying a new plot. You then take a chainsaw to the "mid point" / built in cut line of the timber framed house and put it on two low loaders. Off load at the new site and make good the joint.
