  1. Low exp. foam first?
  2. Are they accurate enough? Not sure what the tolerance is on them..... Swap 'em round on the TS and see if the same top/bottom oddity? I just use mine as a rough indicator. How many did you buy?
  3. Are they the cheapo thermometers @newhome said about getting? Edit: Crossed posts!
  4. I've always been told to be very careful cutting "roots" as they can take up small stones as they grow and bugger your chain.
  5. Joking aside it's great this is getting done.
  6. Not forgetting the cans for breakfast!
  7. Likely?
  8. Seriously, drill holes in it with a spade bit, fill with petrol and allow to soak in then get burning! Lot of practical tip vids on YouTube.
  9. Peter not drinking then?
  10. It was a DWD-G1441S I believe... http://www.ukwhitegoods.co.uk/help/fault-codes/laundry-fault-codes/3369-generic-daewoo-washing-machine-and-washer-dryer-fault-codes LE: Washing machine door opening error The washing machine or washer dryer door has been detected as open or unlocked. 11. Looks great! I'm sold on screeding to "rails" after doing my bathroom with them. My lounge /diner is a long and thin room like that or will be when I knock it thru. That'll get the same treatment! Mine has a change in level that I'll do away with though. What mix was that? I've never used pumped concrete, it looks very "runny".
  12. Getting you in the mood with a bit of Dirty Dutch, CHOOOOON!
  13. Trying to figure this corner out. I've found some seemingly decent 18mm ply although not marine, that I can rip to do the full height, something like this on plan: What thickness do I allow for tile adhesive, which I've not accounted for? As in if I use a 6mm notched trowel does it squash down to 3, 4, 5??? Cheers
  14. Of course the one your mates get you will be pretending to be an Essex girl:

    Flat roof bodge

My temporary fix on mine doesn't work! Done the whole roof now in weighted down blue DPM!
  16. @reddal, did I send you info on the fabrication of steel staircases? If not pm me your email address. Cheers.
  17. First pumped concrete now assisted heavy lifting. Looks like those extra few pounds ain't gonna shift any time soon!
  18. The body dryer is magic. SWMBO gets underneath and at the press of a button comes out looking like the bird in the video! Didn't see a mute button on it though!
  19. What finish are you going for on the rest of the sockets etc?
  20. I reckon the new fitters have got a job lined up for that lot!
  21. I'm going to raise the whole floor area I think. Just thought of a use for some junk I've been trying to find a use for!
  22. @8ball, I picked up the body dryer for a song, unused still in the box. They are discontinued from Triton. Lets's face it, when it goes wrong I'll be left with a damn great hole(s) in the ceiling! The spares that are available are astronomical money. The people I got it from had just completed a plush bathroom and seeming didn't realise it needs a bfo supply etc. It would have meant messing up other rooms to get back to the cu so they just stuck it on Gumtree. I've tested it and it works fine. It sits between two joists: I'll be in a fireproofed "box" under the ceiling vcl: No extractor as such it just sucks up air into one vent, blows it across the heated element and chucks it out the other vent in a downward spiral. More a bit of fun really.
