  1. Wrong forum. Head over to the MIG welding forum. (I'll apologise to them beforehand). Creality Ender 3 V2 maybe would get you started. Loads of support and upgradeable. At this price just buy it...now: https://store.creality.com/uk/products/ender-3-v2-3d-printer?utm_source=googleads&gad=1&gclid=CjwKCAjwyY6pBhA9EiwAMzmfwTOrWf7HGZ8tMiYGyk5sF1qDnIEAjL4DOs4L82VLj6FjDOAvezh7sBoCKUIQAvD_BwE No you can't colour match like that. Plastic primer and paint works.
  2. See page 2:
  3. I see a lot of raised floor systems sat on adjustable metal feet like this. Instead of being screwed down they bond the feet to the concrete floors with a "puddle" of adhesive: https://www.accessflooringshop.co.uk/products/mfh-007-steel-adjustable-pedestal-support-psa-90-mm-140-mm.html?gclid=EAIaIQobChMIkJzm2ProgQMVV9XtCh3MywAzEAQYAyABEgLpofD_BwE https://www.accessflooringshop.co.uk/products/pedestal-adhesive-voc-free-single-part-9kg-mpa-003.html
  4. Hmmm...I fitted Pegler ball valve isolators either side of my mag filter on the boiler. One or both are letting by.
  5. How I did mine: Above I folded a stainless steel door plate and screwed to two joists. Then there's a nylon washer, a thick brass washer, then a BSP nut.
  6. Yes they work. I used Spax floorboard screws. They're excellent. 22mm chipboard floor. As solid as, no squeaks. https://www.screwfix.com/p/spax-tx-countersunk-self-drilling-flooring-screw-4-5mm-x-60mm-300-pack/88716?
  7. Could this be because a) the steels are in the wrong position or b) the posi joists are slightly too short? I'd be looking at where the steels are to the drawings.
  8. Get some gloss on that woodwork and it'll look stunning!
  9. I said it was OK, I'd do it. In reality it was really handy as I wood treated all the joists. Some boards were broken but back then I was getting them milled up to size by the local wood yard.
  10. Ham Smith!
  11. Erm...I do.
  12. The Police lifted the floorboard for me in my first house when I found bones under the suspended floor. Did a lovely neat job. Must have been proud of their work as they took loads of photographs.
  13. Specifically designed with extra protection, both mechanical and shielding on the data side. To my gate I've a bit of 2.5mm2 3 core swa in a bfo DNO duct (60mm dia?), then two 20mm flexible conduits inside that for camera, gate release etc.
  14. My sincere apologies for suggesting you were a:
  15. I stopped listening when you said 25mm2 tbh. Plus you should take it as 5% not 3.
  16. You shouldn't mix voltages and data in the same cable like that.
  17. Look at the data plate on your gate motor for a start.
  18. I'd get a shock if I had to use a washing machine!
  19. Reference HIVE we bought the camera system to keep an eye on Dad in his last few months. BG are switching the service off, at least the camera side in 2025. Bloody disgusting tbh. Not cheap kit to buy and soon to be landfill I guess.
  20. Brilliant, pity about the video quality though.
  21. Play For Today 1984, very good. As for having your sword out...
  22. Maybe draw a line under it now?
  23. Talking to a chap the other day, his son was scaffolding a place so they could retro fit mesh around the on-roof PV panels. Seems they had a pigeon / bird problem with them nesting under the array.
  24. No main drainage, pavements or streetlights here either.
