  1. Right, that's it. I WON'T be seeing you up the car park tonight.
  2. Is this that retro fit stuff that claims to sort all your draught, leak and loose tile issues?
  3. Harsh. I'd have accepted half really well done and considered. ?
  4. Try tiny panel pins to tack the bead on if you can't get on with adhesive. You need to get the face of the bead proud of the main face of the pb say by 3mm. So your tape etc is hidden within the 3mm depth. Or just stop and get the bead you used before. You're not tiling this so it will be more noticeable. Wrong bead for your application maybe? What is it / where from?
  5. I would use on the wall too next time.
  6. Whilst I would only ever do my own tiling, next time I'll use a levelling/spacing system. Still, the dimmer switch and pretty lights detract from my tiling errors.
  7. Stick one of these on the blanking plate:
  8. Spooky! Presumably you can edit your post and take it out?
  9. I thought we'd posted the same thing at the same time.

  11. Just a good quality clear silicone in case you ever need to get it off. Nothing that sticks like sh...
  12. The WAGO blocks are considered maintenance free. The bigger issue is if someone decides to drill into that wall later and there's nothing to say there's a bunch of wires there. In that case back to a blanking plate or obvious electrical accessory (light).
  13. I'd just whack a sticker over it.....
  14. A night light type thing seems to be right for that hole tbh.
  15. Got a pic taken further back? Bespoke stainless bog roll holder? Just a flat plate with a capped tube welded on & sticking out. Stick it on the tiles. A Quinetic switch and use as a disabled call button? Ash tray? A bit of walk on glass to forever remind you of you & @pocster's mistake...
  16. I tested before boarding it over:
  17. I think @pocster just used the same stuff too?
  18. I've done it but it stemmed from my ignorance really. I built in a length of brown soil in the wall from the wc instead of specific black/grey solvent weld. Imo the brown doesn't melt as well as the black/grey. The black grey also feels a bit more brittle. Get both surfaces clean with IPA or similar. I roughed up the brown to get the shiny surface "glaze" off and give the solvent something to key to. Tbh I had a few sleepless nights over it so backed it up with CT1. Anyway, I used this instead of the standard brush on solvent as it was also a bit loose for my liking being two different makes. https://plasticsuppliesdirect.co.uk/polypipe-gap-filling-cement-clear-140g.html

  20. Me too. The 4 piece design I referred to has the two main sections screwed together. I'm mulling printing the moving parts that will in effect be captive, with supports. Then incorporate accessible slots where I can slide a hacksaw blade in to invisibly remove the supports.
  21. Makita Li-ion battery to Ferrex (Aldi) tool adapter in one main piece. Head hurts. Test print soon hopefully! Only because, on a whim I bought a bare18V Ferrex hedge trimmer the other day. The Makita 2 Ferrex on Thingiverse/Yeggi is 4 pieces! Hoping to get it down to 2, possibly 1.
  22. Email Kompernass with the model number. They certainly make the current crop of Parkside SDS drills. Were super helpful and efficient when I had my Parkside SDS pack up just over a year from purchase. I had to invoke the 3 year guarantee thing. https://service.kompernass.com/language/en/contact.php
  23. Window cleaners are Vision Technicians.
