I always bought tools based on how much use they got, for example drill driver, used the most = buy good quality, multi tool, (I would use not very much) buy cheap. Then again I am old, retired so not likely to have many years to use much. Then again there is the old adage “buy right, buy once” 🤷♂️

That was exactly what drove my build, cheaper to run in my retirement and comfortable.

Can't fix, won't fix...what's the alternative

No, @ProDave says,, So has at least two screws . -
I think the big problem is Network Rail will have deep pockets and legal teams in place, you could always apply anyway as a punt, do it yourself (I did my own planning appeal and although not easy it was not rocket science, easier than planning and i won!!,). You might have to employ a good SE to make your point and try and find planning applications to quote regarding other buildings closer than they say are permissible.

Yep, all the same (good) manufacturer ( I did a good deal with a supplier after being fed up with loosing tapes on one particular job).
-
More like a month in my case 🤣, it’s why I had 10 tape measures, (yes I actually did) I could always find one 👍

Highlight the bit you want answers too and press “quote” or use the “quote” icon under the piece in question. (I asked steamy earlier and await his reply.) having done GRP myself his reply makes sense but not sure what the “cure” is.

Especially as an expert in these matters (@steamytea) has said the pinholes WILL cause trouble if not fixed and you have to find someone (not them) to fix it and pay them.
-
And that fix is………

Pre drill a clearance hole in the first piece(that you are fixing through) then twin fast screws, beware to screw slowly if using a power tool as they pull in fast and use the clutch on your driver…Furniture Chipboard / Twinfast Screws, also known as particleboard screws. These self-tapping screws have a coarse thread with twice the thread pitch of standard wood screws, making it easy to drive them into a variety of materials such as chipboard or various densities of fibreboard.

On the white cupboard fit a bottom rail to match the top rail that exists, these then have a 15-18mm gap to the edge of the side panels, glue 15-18mm (whichever it is) timber to the back panel to match the top and bottom ones and you then have up to 36mm to screw into the back panel from the inside of the cupboard through those supports. (I can do you a cad, crayon assisted, drawing if you want 😇)

Yup, in my eyes a quote is a firm quote (when I was self employed I inserted a caveat to say any further work/payment to be agreed before continuing), they are treating it like an estimate and I would not pay them the extra 27%. Get a second opinion on the pinholes ( @SteamyTea ?)

Yes but will give the resistor/Reed switch a try (cuz I am stubborn 🤷♂️). Ha, I googled that, yes may well be a good idea but the science confused me (not difficult).🤯
-
Thanks @Onoff, OMG,the internet is a dangerous place, I have discovered SSR,s and Triacs 🤯, oh I love to learn stuff (but may be too old to understand 🙄).
-
Thanks guys, so, 200k ohm 1/4watt resistor in parallel with the LED driver and i guess I keep the capacitor/resistor I tried as spark quench.? ( I better understand electrical mechanicals, relays etc than electronics 🤯) right ordered resistors but if this does not work I will use a relay (type, spec, source appreciated).

It’s my opinion that those slabs are on your property!. Your side of their wall! Probably to retain your land/soil. All things being equal I would leave them there and pour your foundation against them. Depth depends on ground structure (solid is good) it’s only a shed (no offence intended).

Great, when you cut into the tile, cross cross with the angle grinder to break it up and use (very carefully ) a centre punch to remove very small amounts of tile at a time. Never used one but a dremel or similar may help. -
I have done so many small jobs with “waste” from bigger jobs (mostly my own 🤷♂️) I had a saw bench and thicknesser/ planer which helps 🥳
-
Any guesses what value, hopefully 100ohm 1/4 watt (as I could only buy 10 at a time for the one I required 🤣)
-
I can imagine 🤯, same with our tarmac, was pre-warned so lots of little jobs lined up for free 👍
-
Same with me (but a towable mixing/pumping trailer)

You beat me to saying that …….

That’s what I thought, so why not fill it with more insulation, poly beads 🤷♂️ -
Thanks Nick but that does not help me find a solution to my problem 🤷♂️

I was waiting fir that 🙄
