  4. We took delivery on Friday I didn’t have time to stay and unpack We went back later that evening and spent three hours unpacking First unit Door damaged Second shelf and internal side damage Forth A tall freezer housing They hadn’t put the internal ally bars in for transport Badly bent Verdict Noltes quality control is poor All could have been avoided The carcasses are pretty much the same as anywhere else The doors and hinges are excellent A lot more work fitting especially the finger rails Lets see if they manage to redeem them selfs by shipping the damaged units out quickly Myself and a friend have two days fitting to get it to the stage we’re we can get the quartz guys in
  5. I’m installing a lux air as we speak All singing all dancing Remote controlled Sounds like a jet engine when tuned upto four £800
  6. If you turn up and by everyone’s lunch That would be appreciated Quite unual to get a thank you Not all builder smoke or drink Real nice that you are thinking of them
  7. I’m guessing it’s aluminium If so there will be little or no adjustment So the frame has to be a 100% square and plumb Any adjustment is normally done with the glass (toe&heel) If the frame wasn’t perfect when fitted In afraid the only option that will solve your problems Is to take the doors out and refit

Well it’s 530am Just had a text saying our German kitchen will be with us within the hour I’m just keeping my fingers crossed that everything is there I should have enough time to get it loaded in before I go to my day job Im hoping to fit it over the weekend and get the quartz worktops guys down to template on Monday About two weeks to get those made up We are cutting things fine with our buyers looking to move into our current home as soon as Stairs promised for two weeks Ive an eye operation booked for the same day Fingers crossed I can fit the stairs the following day Hoping to get a free day next Friday and have a look around the homes exhibition If anyone is going I’ll be the tired looking one being dragged around all the home furnishing stalls Seriously it would be good to see anyone that is going on the Friday

    Wall thickness

No We prefer to use the formed kind that are joined together They look better and are much neater

Render and board is fine If well insulated But you need to allow for exspansion joints above and below windows and every six mtrs on unbroken areas
  15. I think it was a case of trying to be different Some of these builds look too commercial This one was surely an acquired taste
  16. There are some exspensive ones But in my exsperience they are all prone to blocking I’m using one that cost eight quid and it does the job Trick is Tirb the gun off when not in use and leave the can attached I never clean the gun Just salespeople the can when empty
  17. I personally wouldn’t put insulation on the garage floor If you are likely to have your car in there You should find that your B&B design will have deeper beams in the garage area for this reason

Ive done it like that in the past Dave It was my wife’s idea to not have a frame or Arks It should be pretty durable as there is little or no weight on the frame It’s all on the wheels I even put an upstanding of ply at the back of the head in case we decided to hand from the back

Yes Ian Personal preference I use it everyday I’ve only a few studs upstairs Mainly making bathrooms up and wardrobes Ive lines all with ply and soundblock and doubled the walls with a 100 mil void between the two unsuits Very solid main advantages millimetre plumb easy to keep square holes Pre cut for services Much better soundproofing than timber Same cost as timber to purchase Five times as fast to install Pictured is a small job I did on a school a couple of months back Build corridor Four classrooms soundblock insulate and skim To be completed in five days Over half term Two days for two of us to build and board with electrician working with us Day and a half for two of us to skim
