  1. What about one of those motion activated cameras to capture the wankers reg number?
  2. If your arms are hurting.....your doing it right. ??
  3. Yes, but certain configurations are required to suit differing heat inputs. @Stones iirc has one that will accept heat energy from an ASHP, whereas @JSHarris has one which will accept electricity only.
  4. C'mon folks....let's get started with the meaty questions and get him sweating ? Hi, and welcome aboard Elliot.
  5. Crikey. One day of rain and you think you need a boat . You in the Everglades ?
  6. Do all you can to connect to the sewerage. A Saniflow is going to cost a good few hundred so spend that on digging up a trench instead. Saniflows are the work of the devil, so avoid one wherever even slightly possible.
  7. Page 4 Any stored water heater will need expansion and a PRV. If there is a very short run of hot water pipework before the only outlet then you'll also need to fit an expansion vessel, so the PRV doesn't nuisance pass. The manufacturers instructions ( MI's ) will give these particulars to the letter, and they differ with size and make. G3 is required for stored water heaters even under 15L capacity........ I thought under 15L got you off the hook for a DIY install but it doesn't seem so. So basically you'll need a pipe to atmosphere which falls continuously in accordance with D1 and D2 discharge pile work particulars. Again, these will be in the MI's. Maybe fit a bigger supply cable and fit an instant?
  8. Ariston are the ones I normally come across / fit, but they are all pretty much the same thing tbh. Heatre Sadia and Redring are known names, along with similar offerings from the better known like Triton.
  9. He's already been initiated Terry . I'll tag you and Ian into the pm now ? Been a long day sorry ?
  10. Bird is the word. ? I'll order one and send you the bill if it burns out
  11. With the bigger holes I tend to drill the tiles before fitting them. I make a circle out of decorators caulk ( like a moat ) and fill it with water so whilst drilling the bit stays submerged and cool. I've got a 30mm bit which must have done 40-50+ holes and is still going. Cheap bits run cool seem to last quite well, but the 5& 6mm ones are a pita as your usually drilling fitted tiles so can't keep the buggers properly wet / cool.
  12. You set them up and I'll knock them down ?
  13. I'm with your missus on the last point. Having the worktop finish up the wall is not my cup of tea.
  14. The £40 ones don't last forever so just wondering if it's for one job / bathroom then is it worth spending the extra £20? I bill these to the customer so don't particularly want to buy anything beyond their needs if it's at extra cost. A box of screws left over is fair game but 50% increase on one item needs a 'bit' of scrutiny. .
  15. Keeping the upstand so you are wiping against that keeps the grout nice and clean. Think twice about that maybe?
  16. Worth trying the erbauer one? ? Decisions.....decisions........
  17. Hide any other magazines .
  18. Granted, So hence my reply .
  19. Yup. People with small kitchens and smaller budgets .
  20. Ok, this is online bullying now.
  21. Just based on the remit I think it may be overkill / unnecessary cost. Ducting is practical if you need to upgrade but what will be out there that a 6mm SWA can't run? My shed alarm will run off a 12v battery charged by solar and be stand alone.
