Not sure - I don't really eat pizza TBH unless I'm in Pizza Hut
-
I don't even do that . I use a small halogen oven with just me here. The normal oven only gets used when people come.
-
Surely you can just go back to them and say that you forgot to order the oven? It's an extra sale for them.
-
Well as they have a replacement unit to bring you maybe it's worth ordering from them? Negotiate on the price if you see a better price elsewhere.
-
I would ask DIY Kitchens which of the ovens they sell would exactly fit your housing and then have a look for one that size if you won't want to buy from them.

Discount Offers of the Week
newhome replied to Ferdinand's topic in General Self Build & DIY Discussion
Yes I saw that in the week and did a double take at the price. They have handily left the model number on it in the photos (DT-980) so if you are really serious about getting one you can have a look for reviews / see if it's available for less elsewhere . It's online only @pocster just in case you were thinking of going and half inching one . -

The Build - Nearly done!!
newhome commented on Redoctober's blog entry in Our Journey North of the Border
Wow, that's all looking fantastic! I have a fully oak staircase. I do find that it's not as safe coming down it as one with carpet TBH. The dog fell down it once too (shouldn't have been upstairs mind ). -

15% off everything at Wickes if you click and collect until Monday. Use code OCT18 at checkout. Minimum spend £100. https://www.wickes.co.uk/ -
Staircases have to be right though so it'll be worth the wait I'm sure even if it doesn't feel like it just now. At least you have the temporary one allowing you to keep your eye on things upstairs or you'd be downstairs stressing about that too

STROMA certification.
newhome replied to TheMitchells's topic in Regulations, Training & Qualifications
I think that was for @JSHarris. I think @Onoff knows you are all or bugger all . -
You mean if I popped up the hill I would be faced with this? ? TBH that was always the vision I had when I passed through there as a kid ? You’ve frequently said that the Mrs is the queen of tat on every horizontal surface so once the new ornaments, toiletries and wind chimes are present you won’t even see the damn cill!
-
Bit far for me but thanks.

STROMA certification.
newhome replied to TheMitchells's topic in Regulations, Training & Qualifications
I learnt it at school but haven’t done one for eons as everything comes with a plug these days. The colours have all changed now I think ? -
Once there is a load of tat on the sill you won’t even see it let alone notice it!
-
Why do you have 2 kitchens? I like Edinburgh as cities go. I'm not a city person in general, but there are some lovely leafy areas pretty near to town and then not long after that you are in countryside. I certainly prefer it to London.
-
I think that's pretty accurate. I will downsize once I retire but I love the larger rooms in my current living space but I don't want or need 4 or 5 bedrooms, the problem being that if it's on 2 levels there is generally the same amount of space upstairs as down so that tends to convert into extra bedrooms. I guess the way round it is to look at a bungalow or something like @vivienz is building with less space upstairs.

Great news. I got G ?

Set up a trust?

But surely that asset would then become part of the parents’ estate thus increasing their inheritance tax liability?
