The rockwool is 0.35 and at 175mm in slab form would work out about £9 m2 for flexi or £8 m2 for rw45 just depends if it work for your studs and rafters!
-
Rockwool Flexi in 600mm or 400mm x 1200mm at 100 or 140mm thickness would be my recommendation.

Thanks to Temp and newhome for your comments! I can see I may have to pay this Cil charge but will try hard not too!! A little more background info on the project: I have owned the 3 acre field for 13 years and is outside of village building line. I was approached by local community trust to build houses for local people. I gave them an option to purchase at a fair price and to include a fully serviced plot for me in my chosen location with full planning for detached house to their design. Over 4 years it took to get full planning permission and all surveys done. In the last couple of months the land for the community trust has been transfered and I now have a plot with planning permission tied to their devlopment scheme. I have copies of all surveys and drawings ready to submit a new application and would like to proceed in a way that helps my case for Self Build Exemption fom CIL.
-
I have been a long time follower of this forum and only ever answered posts this is my first post requiring a little advice! I have a plot of land with planning permission for a detached house that is not my design but has been granted permission under a scheme for 8 other houses making 9 in total. I am in the proceess of submitting an alternative design to build a more suitable retirement dwelling. The developer of the 8 houses has a Cil liability for all 9 houses and now would like to transfer the liability for my dwelling over to me by a Cil transfer form 4 transfer of assummed liability. I would like to claim self build exemption what is my best course of action?

The Mcalpine traps work well with utility room floor similar principle to hep valve. https://www.plumbers-mate-sales.co.uk/mcalpine-gully-tile-silicone-non-return-valve---39000054-4504-p.asp -
I think it is when the temp hovers around 0c and the humidity is very high, very rarely do we get pea soup fog with cold temps on the south coast!
-
Still -4c here East sussex neighbours Air source iced up with the freezing fog yesterday and last nights cold temps, not a good advert for heat pumps!

I use old wood saw the less flexible the better and ground down the teeth with small grinder,so ends up cutting like large bread knife. Easy to keep straight cut and very little dust but very clean cut!!
