  1. I would also go for the deep warming drawers over the shallow ones, lot more useful!

  2. In my new kitchen I have a full size fan oven a combi and a warming drawer. I had exactly this set up before and it works perfectly for me. The range cooker in this rental has 2 electric ovens a warming drawer and a pan drawer and 7 gas burners! The ovens are rubbish they wont take my large baking trays. Its not a small range it measures 1000 across but I think must be a really cheap range...Stoves, never heard of them. If you are getting a range check the oven cavity sizes. I have had Miele ovens in the past but I prefer Neff because of the slide and hide. Neff are very reliable but also have a great after sales service if you need an engineer. I dont like Siemens which is what all the kitchen places try and sell you because of the incentives they get.....I know some are owned by the same huge parent company but they are not just the same products with different badges they are different products. This is a very personal choice of something you live with and use every day...my appliances and my shower are the two areas I wont compromise on...OH happily leaves it to me.......actually my Nespresso coffee machine is another no compromise LOL

  4. Pulling up this thread again, I've just started waterproofing our wet rooms. We bought the AKW formers from a company called Hurlston on eBay. They were very good value and excellent quality. They are 22mm the same as the flooring. The floors we covered in 12mm marine ply so we cut the holes for the formers and re inforced underneath as per @Nickfromwales instructions and then filled these with the ply to bring them up to the same level as the finished floor, then I glued and screwed everything down. I was pretty concerned about doing all this we haven't done anything like it before. The tanking of the rooms has not been difficult, I just watched the YouTube videos and followed instructions. A bit of a messy job but very quick and easy. So really just wanted to reassure anyone considering doing this for the first time that it's a pretty straightforward job. I'm just hoping our tiler is happy with the result!

  7. i think it was @Mikey_1980 who recommended the honeywell wireless door bell. I have bought the loudest version and two of the remote PIR's. The doorbell is sat in the shepherds hut and can clearly be heard outside . Anyone now entering can clearly hear that they have tripped some sort of alarm. Alongside the CCTV i hope it will put them off.

  9. The Spanish supplier of that kit you're ordering came back to me: "Hello retains the setting you have The I 108 works as a comparator When the voltage returns, check the potentiometer setting And the tension of the NTC Depending on the setting and temperature you will connect the relay regards" So all good!

  10. Thank you, the pair have been apprehended from our wildlife camera evidence. The police couldn't praise the footage highly enough, especially as it was dark when the 2 perpetrators arrived. We even recorded their voices, bonus. I'll link you to the camera https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B016O208AY/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
