They are supposed to bringing the Model 3 out "shortly" followed by the Model Y with a fab electric range which from an affordability perspective as well as range should bring them back into view for a much larger consumer group! Now that the Gov subsidy has been cut the almost 40k price of the PHEV is way too high in my view. I won't be buying another unless the price drops and the electric range is improved. On 'proper' fuses, the ones with wire in them. Being the lower element, the temperature rise is very modest, and I limit the on time to less than 3 hours (after careful measurements). Used to do it every time I used it when it got the water to a fairly decent temperature. I used to have to reset it every time I used it. When the boiler engineer came out he said he had 'changed the settings' so it would no longer trip but since he came out the boiler has worked ok so I haven't used it since. Used it every day for about 8 weeks at one point!
