In which case I recommend buying this ridiculously cheap drill and bit set for £15 quid instore as a general backup, then get 10% off whatever Makita toy is your current desire. https://www.screwfix.com/p/energer-40cr-710w-percussion-drill-220-240v/9765v?source=aw&awc=1228_1538249334_8d308bdb9bad99250c39b7ff2533c768&utm_source=affiliatewindow&utm_medium=affiliate&utm_campaign=Communities+%26+UGC&utm_content=TextLink&utm_term=47868

October 6, 20188 yr Aldi specials this week bizarrely include an £899 thermal imaging camera. I know it's always a bit random what they stock, but how many of such a specialist item are they really likely to sell?

They have handily left the model number on it in the photos (DT-980) so if you are really serious about getting one you can have a look for reviews / see if it's available for less elsewhere . It's online only @pocster just in case you were thinking of going and half inching one .
October 6, 20188 yr There's a pretty good thermal imaging camera available from Banggood (when they have stock...), that's worth a look, especially for the price (~£320): https://www.banggood.com/HT-A1-Handheld-Infrared-Imager-300000-Pixel-3_2-Inch-Full-View-TFT-Display-Screen-Thermal-Camera-Dig-p-1331615.html?rmmds=buy
