I think Torx is a trademarked name and these aren't it.

 

I am not going to say anything disparaging but I buy other brands. They can be very similar prices if shopping around.

My preferred BM stocks Timco and Reisser Cutter and sometimes they have similar offers but for these big brands. I've not known any to snap, and the heads don't distort., Nor have I heard anything adverse from our 3 outspoken joiners, even driving 130mm as currently.

 

At home I have a selection pack of Reisser and do like them.

That's where I ended up on our build once I had brought those, I realised how crap most others were.

I always find multi-packs leave me with screw sizes I'll never use - for the number of screws it's good value (compared to normal price) but it's not enough for me to stop buying the brand I always default to, I only buy in boxes of 100 or 200 in the sizes I always use and they all go in a couple of carry cases.

From time to time Howdens do a limited offer of 1200 assorted screws for £5.  Unfortunately limited to 1 per customer at that price.
