As long as cooling is enabled on the controller it should work on the app also. 3 port valve should move etc. Post photo of your controller showing the setup. I use AUTO on the app so whatever temp you dial in it will try to achieve hot or cold doesn't matter.

if its a porch, just make the sizes look equal. same space either side of the door and window etc. Have the window attached to the door frame, be cheaper.

4x2 with 100x100 posts conced in ground every 1200 will be rock solid. you can allways put a length of 4x2 both sides of the posts if you went mega rigid for the little extra cost. Dont bodge it by sitting on bits of block.slabs etc.
