  1. As I’ve said many times before covertly record all conversations with planning . They lie , contradict , obfuscate any issue to wear you down and make sure your application is rejected .
  2. I’ll send a plan off to bpc and see what they suggest . Then might shop around for the mvhr unit . Thanks all . Will let you know what I go for ? cheers
  3. Erm , that might of caused the issues in the first place ?
  4. So ! I will use bcpventilation as everyone seems to recommend them . But which unit ? ; prices seem quite varied . 1.2k upto 3k - can’t see a great deal of difference between them . Intend to mount in the loft but off the rafters as others have to reduce noise / vibration . ta
  5. I’ve got lots of gloves ; rectal or otherwise ?
  6. Cokie cola it is !
  7. Yes ! topic says it all Tenant done a runner . Toilet now better but no matter how much bleach or cif can’t get it white ! What magic do I need ?
  8. Mines just screwed to osb . Will box in after . Screeded floor first
  9. You know they put raw sewage in kfc ?!
  10. Fucks sake ! Cook proper food . A nice steak or make a curry ( I can do 50 off the top of my head ) - I am an expert chef though of course ?
  11. Tape measure and zip ties . All bases covered ( he says now ... )
  12. BC ? They are a joke . Once the timber frame was up I called them to look . I ask when I should call them next - her answer “ when it’s finished “ . Perhaps it’s such a perfect job no one needs to inspect- or perhaps they are lazy ....
  13. Assume I cut the polythene around the edges - it has no purpose now ?
  14. Here yo go @Onoff cant walk on it . But looks spot on ! Shame every trade busts my architecturally eclectic staircase ! . They must all be fatter than me .
  15. Lol i did take loads of photos with a tape measure in the floor - just in case said plan fails
  16. No ‘groan’ emoji
  17. Well ! My future staircase might land somewhere and need bolting to the floor . Built in wardrobes might need a floor fixing . Kitchen units probably won’t but nice to know where the pipes are . You never know !!!!
  18. That area is I think 3 zones . So it’s the return / flow for each zone . Needless to say this was the supplied design . Actually I got that wrong . That ‘clump’ of pipes are running back to the manifold which was behind me .
  19. In my googling quest I came across automated loft ladders . Needless to say I got excited watching them open , extend , retract and close ? But the cost ended my quest . Typical price 2k + ? Though I did see one for a slightly more acceptable £500 mark . Anyone got one ? . It’s a lazy mans toy . Otherwise I’ll have to wait for @Onoff to make one .....
  20. Erm ; all covered in screed now .?
  21. Hey all A nice simple question ! Once I had got all the ufh pipes in I attached zip ties at strategic points to stick up through the screed . Undoubtedly these zip ties will eventually snap . As it’s a sand / cement screed can I just paint lines with paint ? . I don’t want to put something on the dried screed that will prevent / mess up the tile adhesive . Some photos of pipes !! screeders there today . “ we won’t block the lane mate “ .... ??

Top job ! tbh once you get going it doesn’t take too long - though when I had to move 120 tons of stone I did swear a lot ?
  24. Or into the ground ?
