  6. I reckon I’ll have around 10 of the sensors in the entire house . I guess it’s feasible to ‘jam’ z wave - but Wi-Fi . Mobile phone all can suffer the same fate . I dont just rely on these for security though ... ip wired Cctv , finger print scanner on front door and when realistic, facial recognition on entering the house . Also using your phone as a beacon to be indicative that it’s you ...
  7. Yep ! But it works . Stuff like your link is certainly worth a punt . Not sure I want your Cctv watching me in the bathroom ... that would shock even the strongest of hearts .
  8. Aeotec multi sensor 6 - but it’s z wave . Powered via poe to usb on the unit . Works very well indeed

  10. You could fit z wave sockets to each room . You can then turn on/off remotely and also get consumption use ...
  11. Exactly what I’m having One radial socket ring per room and one ‘lighting’ ring . Makes isolation and fault finding easier . Bit more work , bit more cable but worth it

  15. Not really possible yet unless you use your phone and beacons to identify exactly where someone is in a building . Not worth the effort yet in my opinion
  16. Already installed a good deal of that cat cable to each room for multi sensor . Built in wardrobes have a double socket in them and 4 extra Ethernet ports . Most stuff poe - to make life easier Stereo combined speakers in each room - pulse audio rc6 ‘s I think ufh controller by solenoids linked to HA raspberry pi per speaker Water ; a pipe per outlet . Electric a ‘ring’ per room
