It’s been suggested ... Now I looked online for a push fit to solvent weld converter and couldn’t find anything

Ooooooo push fit one end solvent the other That’s what I need ! But a straight one .

So ! I could take the geberit fitting into a similar grey fitting you have and solvent weld that end to my black 110 soil?? The geberit you show ; just pushed into the grey ?? Must have rubber ring or something surely?

@Onoff what did you do here ? You seem to connect into the brown 110 soil - that grey pipe not a push fit onto it is it ??

You are right ! Doesn’t solve my problem does it - as I still need to get to solvent weld

Hmmmm Hunting - I find this @Nickfromwales suggests the 90/110 reducer ( surely that’s an enlarger ) push fits straight into the 110 soil . Still means I’d have a push fit in my vertical rather than a weld ....

Actually do I HAVE to use any of the Geberit supplied pipework?? - can I not just get weldable in the same size? ( assuming geberit is a 'standard' size )? Or is that initial 90 degree tee a Geberit special fitting.....

Hmmm, sounds like a problem for another day. I'll email Geberit - they do seem to do weld stuff - so hopefully they have a magic coupler that takes push fit to weld. I'll report back with what they say ; assuming they reply....

Yeah I did think that also i.e. downhill away from the push joint, but you know. When I post 5 years from now about this brown stain on my ceiling......?

So in my ceiling I’ll have push fit ? ? I really want solvent weld all the way I.e after the pan 90 tee . If I get one of those geberit extenders you linked to I’ll still need push fit at the end which is bad

Rains beaten me ! Went for it and removed the crack - just the final connection to go ! Thanks for all the help !

Need to look that up . but !!! I managed to force weld fit straight into the access chamber ! By pure luck of course ! So ! Coupler on internal soil to a length of weld pipe ‘push fitted’ into chamber !

Hmmmm - called around a few plumbing online retailers - doesn’t apparently seem possible !! . Problem seems to be the rubber flange on the push fit stops the weld fit going in ( even the weld fit end with no flange )

Ah bum ! @Jeremy Harris you are of course correct ! . Will do it properly with a coupler . Better now than problem later !

Weld coupler fits over push fit pipe fine . But I can’t weld these 2 guys together can I ???? Push fit coupler doesn’t go over weld pipe . Both have a rubber flange which seems to stop them pairing up ...

That’s going to be a right PITA to dig out ; so I can lift the pipe high enough so I can get a coupler over it !

Almost there ! So the internal black pipe is weld stuff . Man hole connection is push fit - how do I marry these 2 up ? Also during my excavation I inadvertently stuck the pick axe through the pipe ? A cut section of curved pipe would act as a nice plaster over the hole . Assume this stuff isn’t weld friendly so CT1 it in place ??

But a FCU has a switch ; assume that’s not allowed in a bathroom ??? - or have I got it wrong ?
