  1. Just means doing things like this to support the pb both ways
  2. Pb for ceiling is 12.5mm Collated screws 45mm Will support all ends !
  3. PT guys arrived . Oh well work will have to wait . After that it will be lunch time
  4. Yeah that’s what I thought . I’ll use more noggins and put the ceiling pb up first . Then at least the sloped pb will offer some support at the joint ( ceiling to slope ) . Probably over thinking it as it avoids doing the work ?
  5. I’m putting in noggins ready for the plasterboard ceiling . What should I do where sloped plasterboard meets horizontal ceiling ? A noggin at the top ( and bottom ) for the slope . Another noggin at the top for the ceiling ? . Just seems wasteful and awkward - or is it simply the way ?
  6. Nah shitbox Filton
  7. You bloody did ! No heating in the friggin bathroom !!
  8. You obviously purchased ‘ SWMBO lite ‘ ...
  9. I do most the cooking ! I am an excellent cook !
  10. Going to do that aswell . Remember I need some SWMBO kudos !
  11. Tomorrow I'll go and open an account. I'm sure on the spot some extra 'deals' will appear!
  12. I'm going to build my temp kitchen in the middle of the under ground dungeon deliberately to keep away from walls as they aren't complete. Also I don't want to move the temp kitchen. To make it stronger I can bolt the units together. I was thinking about a 'false' wall behind them to mount the wall units on. But I can't fix to the floor due to UFH - ct1 a wooden supporting structure to the screed?????
  13. Bargain!. With some cheap worktop I can butcher away!
  14. ? TBH I'd probably stick it on eBay for £100 buyer collects ( and dismantles ) We have no utility room. I'm special. My house is special
  15. You are indeed correct! Visiting Howdens tomorrow!
  16. You sure? That presumably means doors/handles/hinges etc. etc. extra???
  17. Tempted by the larger ( but equally as crap ) version https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Modern-Kitchen-7-Units-Cabinets-Set-Dark-Oak-Finish-Cupboards-with-Worktop-Nela/113445821657?_trkparms=aid%3D1110006%26algo%3DHOMESPLICE.SIM%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D20201210111314%26meid%3Dd6be5f885c1d4ff79e3645eab3773a66%26pid%3D101195%26rk%3D1%26rkt%3D12%26mehot%3Dag%26sd%3D113108472252%26itm%3D113445821657%26pmt%3D1%26noa%3D0%26pg%3D2047675%26algv%3DSimplAMLv5PairwiseWebWithDarwoV3BBEV2b%26brand%3DImpact&_trksid=p2047675.c101195.m1851
  18. Yeah I looked at that. Looks suitably cheap and undoubtedly shit. Could do with more base units ( guess I could just buy those ). For once I was trying to be a REAL cheap scape!
  19. Thanks. The appliances aren't the issue it's cheap units/fronts/worktop . All going to end up in the skip at some point....
  20. This looks good https://www.smallsmart.co.uk/products/play-kitchen-deluxe-kids-brown-wooden-toy-kitchen-with-10-utensils-grey?variant=17024505806919&currency=GBP&utm_source=google&utm_medium=surfaces&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIpMTUkbju7gIV82DmCh3xYgz2EAYYAiABEgJ4s_D_BwE
  21. Any recommendations? Been looking online and for around 300 can get a very small kitchen set. I'm going to butcher this to suit our temporary needs ( 'temporary' means I reckon maybe a year with it ) I'll buy the appliances we want e.g. cooker, hob etc. and just wack them in.
  22. Changed to Wednesday now . Ticket entrance only
  23. Mung builder ( aka I am not a builder but I think I am a builder ) has suggested he will "I got some bath stone mortar so the plan with the outside is to basically grind that crack to a joint 10mm wide basically on top and front then re point and seal all the under neath so it will kind of look like 2 seperate stones but that’s the best and neatest way to stop the damp"
  24. Yes from one of my luxury, multi residential, suburban, eco sustainable, high quality, residential abodes .I think that's what you meant?
