  1. Geberit one is just a threaded rod - that’s it . Part of the reason the pan can wobble because they can wobble a bit . Currently in geberit phone queue . “ Your position is 2 “ - relevant for a wc supplier I guess .

    Ah bum !

You can buy mine for 500 quid .
  3. I’ll call geberit and double check !!!
  4. Sure they just screw in . On my other geberit frame they wobble also ....
  5. With the plastic sleeve they don’t . But instructions suggest you don’t need that . I thought the sleeve was just to protect bolt thread getting stuff on them .
  6. Before I commit Are the bolts meant to wobble ??? IMG_2980.MOV
  7. Now that’s a good plan !
  8. Yeah no geberit pan to wall gasket supplied . I saw that in a video and asked geberit . They said only really needed for pan against glass tiles not ceramic . Will take off the wall ct1 the back then reset . Clean up , then leave until Monday
  9. Too slow everyone ! I sat on it and lifted my feet off the floor . It does ‘move’ a bit is this normal ?? . I might be able to get tighter to the wall ...
  10. @Onoff or any ‘ wall hangers ‘ this safe to weight test in this state ???
  11. Both tests successful! zero leaks . I stuck a bit of tissue in it . Set my camera to video hanging over the edge of the manhole . Flushed it . How sad eh ? . Where else would the (expletive deleted)ing water go ? All good ! . Would like to weight test it for my peace of mind but will wait until other ‘wall hangers’ say it’s ok .... too scared !!
  12. Fighting wc . It’s on dry ( no silicone ) If I grab the front though it ‘moves’ up a fraction . The only wall fixings are those 2 high bolts so nothing to stop the bottom lifting - this correct ? Going to tip water down the pan as test 1 Then flush it for test 2 In theory ( as I’m less than confident ) I should be able to sit on this now ? Take my feet off the floor and it takes my weight ?? ( the ultimate test !! )

Yes . it’s not perfect Photo from door way Photo half way in bathroom Photo close up The ‘edge’ of the old paint shows up . I can live with that . I think the sprayers pretty good !
  15. I bet @PeterW offered to visit you with a baseball bat . To fix the heating of course .....
  16. Shhhhhhh again !
  17. Absolutely.
  18. I want to post something useful but I can’t . I want zoots heating to be fixed , but I can’t . Farewell cruel world ?
  19. Yeah but that’s almost impossible. To line up a outlet pipe with a unit with a trap all mm inline . (expletive deleted) that !
  20. Maybe . But allowing 1mm clearance for a compact bottle trap is a bit tight . Out of interest I went and looked at the bathroom vanity unit I’ve yet to install - think there will be much more space .
  21. Trim peeled off before I left for the day . Just a few mm ffs !!! When they design these cabinets I guess they really don’t think about getting the trap and pipework in - bloody idiots !!
  22. Nah . Another 135 and they are too far out of alignment. I’m ‘bending’ the 40mm outlet pipe to the max as it is .
  23. Tempted to cut the corner off the cabinet
  24. You b a s t a r d !! Fitting just catches the drawer - can’t angle it any further . Bottle trip clears by 1 mm ?
  25. Think I’ve solved it . Was far fiddler than I thought . Nothing glued yet !! Compact bottle trap - and some very tight fittings ....
