Assuming if I fit it all dry I flush it and make sure no leaks . Then take it off ,ct1 , clean it up , leave it for 3 days
-
Going to do it all dry first . Now need to read ( well look at pics ) for cutting the waste and supply pipes to the correct length . Plenty of opportunities for fs still ?

Ok ! Phone call to geberit ! Apparently there’s an embedded grub screw in the fitting which is embedded in the pan ! I shall now go and look for it !!

Yeah I watched that exact video I’m obviously having a (expletive deleted)ing thick as sh*t day ( blame being a LL for that ) - I just can’t see what the Allen key connects into ( no hex receiver ) to tighten it
-
Whilst I wait / ponder over the basin trap decided to look at the geberit pan . Hmmmmm - confusion !! ( not my day today ) . Can’t see how you tighten those bolts with the supplied Allen key - must be mis understanding something !!
-
I thought that . Might be able to stick a flexcon on it if it won’t fit .
-
Yeah I could do all that but you know ! At the moment it’s a choice of lesser of evils ! I always prefer more than 1 option ...

Ordered ! Jtm plumbing don’t do this and said it would work . Their previous suggestion was hack the cabinet ?
-
I was hoping it was this . I’ll leave it for a few days then start turning on other zones ?

30 I believe

Rest of house has zero heating so it’s highly possible the heat is just leaving the bathroom ( no doors anywhere ) and just heating the entire build . I’ll leave it another 24 hours
-
No way - I’d have to bust tiles / ply etc. ??? Is there not a shallower trap I can use ??
-
-
Looks like the CT1 did the trick . Dryer than miss marple on a Saturday morning in Swindon
-
Well 24hrs just the bathroom has been on and it’s gone from 10 degrees to 13.5 Ive got the ASHP on the lowest setting . Rather have it run efficiently than heat quicker . But does that sound correct??
-
Never go there. Order 90% of stuff online for delivery - just so much quicker - oh and I'm lazy. ?
-
Can't tell from the photo if the ends are like the supplied screw in ones. The supplied ones did have 2 washers I recall. Will get out the other taps tomorrow ( same brand ) and then I'll stick a photo up...
-
Do you mean flexi Hep2o off those supplied flexi fittings ( which I get ) or do you mean flexi Hep2o that go straight into the tap ? I.e replace the supplied fittings .
-
Ok Uncle Nick - doing it now . Will test tomorrow ?
-
You might be right . Started it from all cold today and set re calibrate. Bathroom floor starting to warm up . Two temp sensors in bathroom ; one at 10.4 other at 11.3 . Floor doesn’t feel cold to the touch now .
-
Underneath . Where you just have the crap white washer then the black fixing nut . It’s really crap as water runs out from those overflow holes in the sink plug and therefore run down outside the mechanism .
