You are indeed new to BH. @Onoff bathroom saga is being made into a movie . Think it's going to be around 2.5 hrs long. It's a tale of ineptitude , indifference , failure and loss. Bring a tear to your eye. Once that's been released and you've watched it the same production company are making a movie about my bathroom legend. It's a tale of triumph , skill , determination - with an amazing ending ; great CGI . Also there are some rather hot steamy scenes later on. 2 Netflix binges for sure!

Rather than have joinery skills is there a system you can purchase that you cut to size . Then has edging for joints and corners ? Essentially you can make what ever you want and joints / edges / corners / hinges are part of the ‘system ‘ . So its looks great but required no special tools and more importantly very little skill ... ?

Ah ha ! Well I just called Upol who make it ! They said you can in damp conditions but it may then dry out too quick I.e not the best bond ! So there ! ? I’ll wait until tomorrow ?

Well there’s 1 with a drip on it Is it ok to apply tiger seal when it’s damp Or must it be bone dry ???

Oh bum ! Some leaks on my dungeon waste pipe ! I’ll run a tap to locate it . Assume just ct1 or tiger seal around the offending joint??

Took tap off so I can cut the washer that sticks out . Then recheck the instructions and realise I had done it wrong ! To borrow @PeterW new phrase - I felt like a twunt ! ??

I’ve done that 1000 times ! I do the same with tools . Early in could never find a crowbar . So I bought 5 and just put them randomly around the site . Logic being one will always be somewhere ‘near’ too me ! . At this point in time I can still only find 1 . @joe90 only person to visit - just saying . But if he puts crowbars and washers up for sale ; well ; you know his ‘supplier’

Thing is . I opened and fitted each flexi 1 at a time . In the bathroom as I fitted them . Packaging was all sealed . So I’m going to say they were missing in the first place - like a true tart !

Maybe ! But to loose both ? - possibly ! Anyway don’t like them - want something else !!

Decided I don’t like these supplied flex’s . Too short - And I don’t like the olive end

Struggled to get the olives off the Hep2o - bent them a bit - assume that’s not critical ? They will compress ok when I put them back on ? Flexi has a slight kink - does it really matter ??

Could be - so hard to tell . Could just ct1 the nuts off the fitting to the sink like I did on the other one . Probably best to do that anyway

Hmmmm . Base of telescopic trap seems to leak - I can’t hand tighten it anymore . Reluctant to stick grips on it ...

Sink on . Water feed to taps leak . Olive fittings against Hep2o . I’ll take then off tomorrow and ptfe the threads . Waste in . Tiger seal ( hence the lovely black mess ) to compression fittings . I prefer it this way .
