  1. Yes also holes are on the piss
  2. Nope it’s a wall mount basin 🙄
  3. The slots on the back of the porcelain aren’t level ( photo to follow ) . I could try your ‘ clamp ‘ idea . Could also cut that wall plate in half so my waste has got a chance to get to the bottle trap . I don’t know who designs these things - clearly they do not try actually fixing them to a wall !
  4. Nope . Manufacture of basin supplies no wall fittings .
  5. Right ! F this wall fitting . Take board off wall - wooden noggins and screw bolts into that . Still won’t be able to get a nut on one of them . ct1 back of sink to tiles ??? At least I can fit the waste correctly then .. f ing rubbish
  6. I said strap band also 🤣
  7. Ffs ! I choose this wall mount system rather than the 2 bolts into masonry because this is a stud wall . Mounting system is causing me more problems though .
  8. Small hand basin . It would seem impossible to : fit the plastic washers that keep the steel away from the porcelain and allow adjustment . Though I’ve put a rubber sleeve over the bolts for now . The 2nd nut is impossible to fit . Any advice welcome
  9. Deeply hurt I’ve not been tagged for approval on version 2 . I think it looks fugly 🤣
  10. My advice has been 100% accurate . @Thorfun has faith in my (in)ability .
  11. There be lives wasted in mega thread
  12. Is fugly a real word ? Google tells me it is !! So my entire build is fugly ! 🤣
  13. Yep 👍 .
  14. If you email jtmplumbing for help - they’ll supply a link to all the bits you need 😁
  15. Or ( my favourite place by far to buy plumbing online ) https://www.jtmplumbing.co.uk/rubber-lined-c1147/jtm-bracketry-rubber-lined-steel-pipe-bracket-clamp-click-in-to-listing-for-discounts-p7502/s39223?utm_source=google&utm_medium=cpc&utm_term=jtm-bracketry-rubber-lined-clamp-215mm-220mm-rubber-lined-clamp-rubber-lined-clamp-215mm-220mm-rlb23&utm_campaign=product%2Blisting%2Bads&cid=GBP&glCurrency=GBP&glCountry=GB&gclid=Cj0KCQjwhY-aBhCUARIsALNIC05cMsfnmoyRix-ELpCnUKqGxByi5Xb4uBEywCBJdoGCyOHY5-2Bt-saAgtvEALw_wcB

  17. You don’t need him . He’s busy installing PV - you got me !!! 😋
  18. They are ok . But as you said thread length can be an issue . I also used metal strapping . Cant remember where I got my hangers but just looked Screwfix - do them 👍
  19. The geberit frames are ace . You’ll see something on them and think “ what’s that for ? “ . Days later when fitting it you’ll go “ ahhhhhh , now I see “ . I’ve done 2 - no issues - you’ll be fine . You’re getting there don’t sweat it . Anyone can do plumbing it ain’t rocket science ( waits for abuse from plumbers ) 😁
  20. To make you feel better ….. It was all SO neat when I started with just 1 red pipe …. 🙄
  21. Stick a hose pipe in one end to test . Also ( funds permitting) you could use a geberit toilet frame ( height adjustable ! ) if you really struggle to line things up ( assuming you’ve not already bought a floor standing pan ) . I’m waiting to see your hep20 mess 😁👍👍
  22. Yes but you are learning 😁
  23. Solvent weld is your friend 😁😁👍😉
