I've collected various halogen & fluorescent under cupboard and plinth lights over the years off site etc. Took me so long to fit any of them they've been superceded by LED! Did buy some LAPP ones in clearance in S'fix a while back. Two sets of 10 in blue for the bathroom and a set of 10 in white. Blue ones are going in the bathroom and the white I've fitted in the kitchen. Paid between £4.99 & £14.99 a set. Look better in the flesh so to speak. These just needed a 22mm hole: Basically you get a set like this random image: The ones in the pic are 45mm but you can get smaller diameters. They need to plug in somewhere of course so think how convenient it'll be to switch them. Alternatives are LED strips of course but I was going cheap as! -
I've made a temporary full size door before out of tile batten and stapled the Antinox to it.

Correx is probably the best known variant. Wicked now do Proplex rather than Antinox. https://www.wickes.co.uk/Proplex-Black-Surface-Protection-Sheet---2mm-x-1-2m-x-2-4m/p/118670?

One of my favourites as a kid that. Out about the same time as the one with two nuns fighting over a bike and the Mother Superior threatens to put the saddle back on.....

Could do but will need proper priming and painting imo. Bead of mastic between floor and board will help. Use softwood if you like. I was thinking quick & cheap! -

Depends how / what you cut it on. Put cut edges facing in. Who's going to lie on the floor and look that close anyway! -

You could rip up some MOISTURE RESISTANT flooring grade chipboard and paint it black... https://www.wickes.co.uk/Wickes-P5-T+G-Chipboard-Flooring---18mm-x-600mm-x-2400mm/p/164516? Add some cheap LED plinth lights...? Gumtree is your friend, maybe Preloved for a 2nd hand induction hob. -

Exactly that! Smooth caulk level with top of skirting and paint to match skirting. Or maybe where door architrave has a gap. -

Got my induction hob from Comet when they closed down. £169.95 down from £399.00. That well known make Electra Elecheib. Designed in Israel made in Turkey! Schott Ceran glass etc. Hasn't missed a beat to be fair. Let's hope it gets us through Christmas dinner No7. Had it a good while now. -

Stacking would solve all these bulging lid issues surely? The one above would stop the lower one's lid bulging and you wouldn't see the top ones bulge as it'd be too high!

You can touch our glass top pretty much immediately after removing a pan and won't suffer a serious burn. Don't get me wrong it's not pleasant but nothing like touching a ceramic or God forbid, old school open ring! -

You can with induction. On ours we can set it to "pulse", even has a pause button. Auto shuts off in the event of a pan boiling over etc. Mate's missus just gone from gas to induction and loves it. -

I've got to knock this wall out a bit more on the left, only by about an inch. Chain drilled it originally.....just not enough. SWMBO has a thing about dust...weird... So how to move a large volume of dust? Going to chain drill again then comb chisel it. This thing connected N/LA for the fast speed should help with a bit of a cowl and some 63mm duct out the window. -
Attaching Christmas wreath to powder coated front door
Onoff replied to Jude1234's topic in Doors & Door Frames
Can't you CT1 a wreath to a spare bit of glass and just "get a man in" every year to swap the panels over? -
