  1. I used CT1 Grab n Bond to stick tiles to marine ply.
  2. Have you actually seen your avatar???
  3. Chrome / silver quadrant? https://www.floorstowalls.co.uk/products/quadrant?
  4. Looks good to me. ?
  5. You should try the seafood around Dungeness...
  6. Not called The Garden of England for nothing!
  7. I've loads of self sown blackthorn grown up around our cess pit / septic tank. I've never used the sloes, I know what they're feeding off! They certainly push out suckers and you'll have vicious little ones springing up if not managed. Had to cut loads down just to find the cess pool.
  8. Buildhub has a veritable infezdation!
  9. F***ing scrumpy necking, West Country yokel! In The Garden Of England we say "One still goes everywhere!"
  10. Just noticed what the previous "fitter" did. Lopped the male end off of the Marley bit and butted it up to the grey waste. It was full of broken, perished elastic bands! ?
  11. You'd have thought that wouldn't you. This Floplast one would fit except the ID on the grey is 39mm but the male of the Floplast is 40/41mm. Going to try and gently run a Starrett down it. Pita.
  12. This off a half bowl sink. Any ideas as to an equivalent, maybe TS/SF?
  13. LED profile?
  14. Duct tape down Correx, Proplex, Antinox etc type sheeting to keep the OSB clean. Don't walk around too long on pir or it'll start to break up and the foil start tearing and coming off. You'll end up repairing with spray foam and Bacofoil. Ask me how I know! ? I used some bits of OSB here and there to prevent further damage.
  15. @Gav_P in answer to your question on @pocster's thread. The wet room corner, without screens: See the 4x4 tiles that are laid to falls in the picture. The full tile line outside that gets wet, so the top of then loo seat a bit and the bath corner. Up to the grey mat on the top right. Its the tiles get wetter that anything else. After showering it's a quick squeegee over the floor then kick the towel around the floor.
  16. Handy having somewhere to store them until you need them...
  17. A series of staggered shelves would add interest for the cats. Maybe a high sleeping perch too.
  18. I'm lost as to what I'm looking at the. Presumably he means as the wall bows out at the top he can't get a tile in? EDIT: Just read, he does mean that. I'd multitool the backer board a bit thinner maybe and tank for good measure.
  19. Nah, it's either blue or blue. Matches my mood most of the time. My alcove lights were I think £4.99 for 10 from S'fix with a tenner off the already discounted clearance price. St/st garden deck lights. Bought two sets.
  20. Gotcha! How much tiling have you done on the wall, what else is on there (Just know you're going to say WC and shower). Any option to tile OVER the bottom row of tiles?
  21. Tried doing it as one piece...snap.
  22. How is this wall not bowed in?
  23. They're all just furred killing machines. How about wicker, willow or rattan panels? They'd scratch it to pieces in no time though.
  24. I like the term cabin. I always chuckle the way Centre Parcs refer to their "villas".
