MF ceiling grid - hanger distance from walls

They are Metal to metal Though you might have to use a few wafer self tappers in the primary Which is ok as you can put a wafer point in alongside once everything is in place -

Just an observation to the picture The joint is wrong The pieces should butt together Both facing the same way with a 300 piec clipped over with eight pan heads holding it in place The hanger can be fixed directly to the joint 3.6 -
Cement board is perfect for render But you still need mesh or a fibre mesh on top of the board
-
You can shot fire a piece of SS mesh to it Then render over it
-
Our installer has said £100 and that it pretty much a check that everything is as it should be and your happy with the setting and as Dave pointed out Clearing leaves etc

Shop around You May get a design that includes what you want Rather than what they think you want

Your back to the same thing again BUDGET If budget isn’t an issue All of the above PVC with good U values are fine I almost went for Alli But couldn’t justify the 70k price tag Half the purchase price of the plot For just windows -

I’ve not used a mortgage on ours so can’t answer mortgage requirements however plenty on here have As far as warranty providers being picky We had our first with one of the largest s suppliers Protect He inspected the foundations from his car Muddy and he had forgotten his boots Inspected the roof from the ground Though he did say I’d done a “Grand Job” Final inspection He spent ten minutes Again stood in my hallway Told me the certificates he required and said I’ll have to dash I’m covering for someone who’s hurt his back They seem to rely on building control doing there job They know it’s unlikely that they will ever have to pay out Get the cheapest warranty that your mortgage supplier will except Try Jeremy Stanton at CMLC Have a look at a previous post of mine Cost per m2 Cost of fees and surveys can really tie your hands Before your have even put the first spade in the ground Survey suppliers have a good way of up selling Even Echo surveys offering Gold Silver and Bronze My answer is give me the cheapest it’s only a bloody house 😁
-
Firstly I’d go for as cheap as possible Its unlikely that the house will ever need rebuilding All the warranty companies rarely pay out But if you are likely to sell As we did on our previous build It’s a necessary evil We had a 400k rebuild on our previous Build cost 200k Our biers solicitor questioned the 400k as we sold for 700k We just said that the site was worth 350k The warranty cost 3k This time we have gone for a professional cert Excepted by most lenders except HSBC The end value has been estimated at 1.2 million It’s cost us 350k to build Warranty cover is 600k Cost of cover £1500

It’s normal for a SE to specify a hit and miss plate He or she is trying to save you money Ask him to change the drawing if you don’t mind the extra cost

I don’t think anyone thinks that We on here don’t take on the roll of designer But we can give out friendly advised -
Yes if and when Otherwise there’s nothing to stop you renting A out After we comped our first build We wanted to add our home to our rental portfolio We sought legal advise Regarding the cil and Capital gains As we fully intended selling our build at some stage and moving back to our original home while we built again The Gist of it was The Cil would be unexpected as long as we didn’t sell before the three years BUT our original home would be treated like any other of our rentals should we decide to sell CGs

It was just one of many jobs that I had on my phone 1970s detached Doubled in size 70-100 mil EWI depending on steps etc Covering brick and render

I completed the plastering and framing on a 2000 m2 weekend place in the lake district About five years ago He filled this with every smart device that is out there Some tgat gadnt even come to market Hes a real techi and own the largest electrical and fire alarm company in the UK But concedes that he hardly uses any of it If you have an unlimited budget like him Then load it up But in my experience the bells and whistles are usually the first casualty in a spiraling budget

Neighbour building an extension, must he render my side?
nod replied to qamar's topic in Planning Permission
I rendered a very large two story garage for a good friend of mine He asked me to just get the materials for three sides As he or his neighbor wouldn’t see the side facing the neighbors due to large hedges BC wouldn’t sign it off till the forth side was rendered -
Yes you can I hate the plastic verges

You can use lead virtually anywhere Some pics would help As above For some reason Not always It can be a bugger for staining
