  1. I quoted the regs to him and he brought his boss down From memory it says something like Preferably or ideally concrete or Asphalt Both conceded that as long as it wasn’t removable (Both tried) and the gradient was correct Also nonslip It would be fine His boss suggested bumpers on the level platform We used LA so won’t be swayed like many private companies I do hate it when BC state there preference rather than sticking to there own rules

It sounds unlikely If there are not houses either side Say within 100mtres Most counsels won’t consider it to be infil We have purchased a three acre field at the back of two plots we are buying Paying 50 k to protect our views Ive already been approached by a neighbor wanting to purchase half to extend his riding school for more or less what we paid for the whole field In truth the land is worth what someone is willing to pay 30 or even 50k would be unusually cheap for a building plot

  13. A bit of both really Building work has been manic for the last five years Many Groundworks companies still work off back of a fag packet The problem for any contractor doing the design work Is that someone can nip in with a quote based on your design If you bring in a SE to do a foundation design Most will go you a basic drainage design The Ground-worker will probably tweak things anyway It will make it much easier to get a quote
