possibly something like this might help you move it about, assuming you were only working on one flank you could even pull yourself along while controlling it from the top https://www.amazon.co.uk/Silverline-748850-Electric-Vehicle-Capacity/dp/B0161AC4EW/ref=sr_1_cc_1?s=aps&ie=UTF8&qid=1520158432&sr=1-1-catcorr&keywords=electric+winch -

a couple of things, 1, don't use a lawn mower engine as you know the one time you really need to use it the poxy thing won't start, also you will permanently add a can of petrol to your site so you will then have to be more careful with grinders and such like, personally I would go for something electric if it needs it but realistically if you use good/big enough castors it shouldn't need mechanical power to move. 2, I bought a pair of these flood lights recently, 50w so technically as powerful as a standard 500w halogen, ip65 so you can leave them outside, plus they are led so they just dont break like the halogen alternatives, ( only issue is they come with a very short flex and no plug but im sure a man of your capabilities could sort that out) https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B074KVL7X1/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o07_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 -

ITS have got some very good prices on hole saws at the moment. Probably other things too but this is what came up in my feel https://www.its.co.uk/search.aspx?rs=bosch-holesaws&directSearch=true&utm_source=Facebook&utm_medium=Carousel-Prices&utm_campaign=SALE - March 18 -

I was the same when i first found out they were a thing, if you search for "amazon review of" either veet hair removal or sugar free gummy bears there are hundreds of very similar reviews, there must be others but those are the only products I Know of that fell into the "lets make a really long, hilarious and descriptive review of a product" category.
-
are they anything like the Veet for men reviews?...... Hilarious https://www.amazon.co.uk/review/R3GDDEL1SC1QQ5 P.s while you are there try looking up the sugar-free gummy bear reviews, similarly hilarious

A reward of more challenges -
you laugh, the drone can track and follow by itself as well so it might well be an option
-
that's the same one I'm getting, a 6/7 seater that is pulling the pants down of most supercars over 1/4 mile AND it has celebration mode
-
supposedly the thing can drive itself so i might be able to do both
-
I think the model I have hired lists at about £150k, Its the only chance I'll ever have to drive one so yes 3 day is essential (not long enough in my eyes)
-
well worth a watch, according to this guy 2040 will be easy....... FWIW I do like the idea of EV's, I like it so much I have hired a Tesla Model X P100d Ludicrous+ for our wedding day, And yes i obviously do need it for 3 days

Can I roof a house?
Construction Channel replied to Tin Soldier's topic in Roofing, Tiling & Slating
from how I read it, the left connection will be in a "double hanger" fixed to a trimmer/wall plate/ rim joist connected to the wall, it needs to be connected with m12 resin fixed bolts but it doesn't say what centres? (text in the middle refers to this) as for the right, we would notch them into the web unless stated otherwise, then either pack the webs on either side of them or make sure there is a row of noggins very close by, I am surprised he hasn't specced for the doubles to be bolted together as well. is there a spec to go along with the drawings? -

Following on from this thread Iv decided to drag this update back to the correct thread as it is barely about the bathroom. Either way the news hot off the press is we have just finished installing the UFH pipes ?, i still need to test them but the actual laying is complete. Also in the mean time when either I was alone or waiting on deliveries I have installed just over half of the frame therm 32 upstairs and celotexed between the rafters above where my walls are ( the PITA ones to fit.) next job is to get all the mesh up on the little concrete spacers. Box off the shower area. Get the bco out on Monday and look to pour the floor next saturday ? here are some pictures. If I pull my finger out I’ll have a video up by the end of the weekend.

Its not about scoring points. It’s just what we do. Admittedly most do it to make themselves sound clever even if they know full well they would have done a similar bodge but personally I do it because I can’t help but see the faults. I may be slower than most but also my work doesn’t need snagging. (At least in the last few years. )
