You do. It is a safety issue. They need to know where installations are, how large they are, where the safety cutouts are, and that all the equipment is legal. You better get whoever wired it in to get you the certificates pronto.

Was not my point. Was just checking the the install is legal to protect the installer and the DNO workers. Diverting to DWH is the easy way, but may only use 6 kWh a day, and in the summer it may be possible to generate 4 times that. Worth remembering that energy and power, the kWh and the kW, are different things. To run a heat pump purely off PV will require a minimum constant power, plus a bit for initial pump/fan startup. Batteries can help here. Batteries are still expensive, but at 20p/kWh to import energy, the levelised cost must be getting close to parity now.

It is just down to mm/unit area. But when it is reported, it becomes attached to a geopolitical area. Same as wealth, pollution, cost of living etc. There is nothing inherent in the words Cornwall or Cumbria that make the areas have more rainfall, it is more to do with topology. As long as the sides are parallel.

I don't know what it is in mm now, but was something that was highlighted on my Climate Change course. It was really highlighting the difference between geopolitical and geotopology. By rights, either Yorkshire or Devon should get the most rainfall, as they are the largest counties, and Rutland or IoW (depending on tide) should get the least. My thinking is that High Wycombe is the wettest place, can drizzle for days there, days and days.

Gardens don't need watering down here. I think the average rainfall in Cornwall is greater than the average rainfall in Cumbria though the wettest place is in Cumbria). Did you leave the protective wrapper on.
