October 31, 20178 yr Whilst I'm NOT an Erbauer fan by any means they do I believe make multipurpose blades compatible with the Evolution range of saws. I noted tonight on a Screwfix flyer cheap blades: https://www.screwfix.com/search?search=erbauer+multipurpose I might grab a 185 & 255mm for my two Evolution saws here.

November 15, 20178 yr Author 16x16mm hardwood quadrant 60p / metre. My local timber merchant Ron Currys have a decent amount (it says 30+ bundles) of this they are selling off at £15 for a bundle of 10 x 2.4m lengths ie 24m. https://roncurrie.co.uk/timber/planed-decorative/decorative-mouldings/dark-hardwood-16mm-quadrant-mould-decorative-trim-moulding-2.4m-bead-wood-timber I had one bundle and this is a piccy. They say it is probably stained meranti wood. Probably of interest to people near Notts / Derbys or driving up the M1 or A38 past M1 J28, as it will be expensive to courier. .

I got an advent callender and the £10 discount code. Since the code does not seem specific to any particular account, I thought it worth sharing. I don't think you can use that code in store as the instructions say "hand over the card" but on line you just type in that code.
December 5, 20178 yr Looking for a deal on a 255mm Evolution Rage 3 saw, 230V. For the nephew for Christmas. It'll save him keep borrowing mine! Best I can find is £150 from Screwfix with a tenner off of that using the code. If anyone spots a deal. Cheers

December 11, 20178 yr Author Alternatibely, convector heaters for £12 recommended by @ProDave I bought 3 convector heaters from CPC for not a lot http://cpc.farnell.com/pro-elec/pel00022/convector-heater/dp/HG0091607?ost=hg0091607&iscrfnonsku=false&ddkey=http%3Aen-CPC%2FCPC_United_Kingdom%2Fsearch I don't like fan heaters for unattended use. It's not pretty if the fan fails.

It's not pretty if the fan fails. Only £11.34 each if you buy 3. They have an inbuilt thermostat and 3 different power levels. We find the lowest 700W setting about right for keeping our bedroom in the caravan warm at night withut too much cycling of the thermostat.

Discount something to a silly level when actually stocks are largely exhausted. If you were cynical (and I am!) it’s a clever marketing trick to get them up the rankings on the discounting sites such as HotUKDeals. These sites can push big traffic volumes to your site and have become commercial entities in their own right. Ta Da.....I rest my case: https://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/5-pack-2-way-mk-light-switch-only-100-cc-screwfix-2851992 Scrrwfix are not alone though. I guess it’s a competitive world.
