  1. Remember to put in some external sockets, especially handy at christmas. Get the ones with the on/off switches, some don't have them which is silly since you have to pull out the darn plug.
  2. I haven't cataracts but I need variofocal glasses with a serious script. I love decent lighting, and really want to plan it into our build. Daughter got me a military grade torch for christmas. Love it!

  7. Hello, we hope to be demolishing in March and I am concerned that birds nest every year in feb in chimneys. Is there a way I can put them off without going on roof? I have a chimney sweep brush that goes on rods, if i leave it up would that work?

  10. Hiya, I was watching a programme on you tube and saw the householders use an industrial roofing, large panels topped with tin on top of polystyrene . It went on fast and was cheap. No idea how insulating it is...

  14. An elderly relative has been visiting and somewhat embarrassed has told me they lifted the little drain cover out of the sink and dropped their teeth down! It was a small run of a few teeth. I need to get into the drain. How?c Do I need to remove it all? I have plumbing tools.

  23. Any thoughts? The wires, I see three....they dissect the site. I wonder could they be buried? Also there are three wires going from poles on street front to back. Front one takes 2 wires to cottage. I fancy 3 phase.
