    Irrespective of costs my solution is feasible (apart from the dormers which obviously don’t have foundations). The gables will have an outer masonry leaf at ground floor level to build off and attaching cladding to an outer block leaf is achievable. In any case have you looked at the impact of the reduced impact on your SAP. I doubt it’s significant.

    Why would you need another foundation? The outer leaf is already there just fix the Cedral or other to it.

    Put the Cedral or other on top of the brick or block outer leaf. Get the same effect. No need for ventilation and U-value stays the same.

    Between 0m - 1m you can only have 1.0m2 of unprotected area - ie doors or windows. If this satisfies the ventilation requirements (1/20th of the floor area) - grand. It will satisfy EEW requirement which requires a 750mmx450mm (0.33m2) but you may come across resistance from your neighbour. The window you have shown is too big.

    Needs to be a system-can’t just slap pink board around a steel beam. If any contractor used this I’d ask him for a British Gypsum/Lafarge system and would make sure he’s built to it.
